Have you ever noticed that whenever a guy gets called out for doing creepy scummy shit, people will defend them like “well what he did technically wasn’t illegal so he didn’t commit any crime therefore he didn’t do anything wrong and if you dislike him for it then you’re smearing an innocent man”

Brought up it/its pronouns to some cis coworkers, they all laughed and didn’t understand them. Little do they know I’m an undercover she/it user and I am reporting back to base to put estrogen in their water supply

the primary reason rightwingers will never control culture is because everything they do is hinged upon it being a reaction to the broader culture. the TPUSA half time event would not exist without it being a representation of their grievences

there’s a large portion of people somehow posting about how this made them more islamiphobic which to me implies they endorse the shooting

This post is unavailable.

CBS has been a right wing news outlet for a while but the Erika Kirk Town Hall is DYSTOPIAN. When asked if she condemns Trumps divisive rhetoric she goes into a tangent about “it starts with the parents” not answering the question and then Barry Weiss just moves on, no follow up. Fucking evil

it’s just undeniable that trump wants everyone to live in a hell where you can’t tell whats real

even when the democratic party has leverage and one of the craziest election swings the party intentionally self immolates it’s just so exhausting what is even the point of these people

Lexi reposted

honestly it was pretty funny when the right was pretending that charlie kirk was a revolutionary civil rights leader when his whole deal was barely winning arguments with children

the democrats need to let the government shut down happen. they cannot let donald trump pass the funding bill that ends federal funding to hospitals that give hormone replacement therapy

just saw some clips from the kirk funeral and like among every other thought i have about it, god this whole thing is disgustingly craven. no one's talking about him as a person, only a symbol and project. there is no honor or grieving

the fact that a sitting US president is talking about antifascism being terrorism should tell you a lot about what he thinks his own government represents

true free speech is dead and conservatives killed it

This is...something Nexstar, one of largest owners of TV stations in the country, is pre-empting JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE "for the foreseeable future": "Nexstar strongly objects to recent comments made by Mr. Kimmel concerning the killing of Charlie Kirk and will replace the show with other programming."

I wish I had the words to make people see me as human. To break past the dehumanization. The words that would make everyone understand if they just heard them. I keep imagining there’s some magic arrangement of words I know that could do it - even as I know I can’t. I just got to try and hope.

People missing an important point about folks getting fired for whatever they said about Charlie Kirk: Americans are being conditioned to be snitches on their fellow citizens who don’t toe a party line on what is “allowed” to be expressed. And employers are going along. It’s the new secret police

between this and the WSJ article about "transgender and anti-fascist ideology" being carved into bullets it's almost like there's a concerted effort by multiple mainstream news sources to paint this shithead as a leftist for Some Reason.

Y'know that Guardian article which cited an anonymous friend of Tyler Robinson claiming he was the only "leftist" in his family? It just got updated after the "verified source" decided he couldn't remember his "relationship" with the accused shooter well enough to be quoted

they can't talk about kirk because if they use any of his words, it becomes immediately clear that he was an awful person and deeply unsympathetic. they can't talk about the shooter, because he's some middle class nazi failson. so they talk about trans people, because they need a villain.

they literally want to round us up man. can democrats please get a fucking spine and stand the fuck up for us now? we literally cannot counter this ourselves when they want our voices and rights taken away. please do fucking something

Reactions like this are why I wrote my article. I presented his comments IN CONTEXT, and provided tons of receipts. Charlie Kirk was not a civil person. www.erininthemorning.com/p/we-must-no...

erininthemorning.comWe Must Not Posthumously Sanitize Charlie Kirk's Hateful LifeInfluential anti-LGBTQ+ activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated on Wednesday. While condemning violence is something most can get behind, sanitization of his hate has gone too far.
Sally Jenkins@sallyjenx.bsky.social

One of the reasons I'm not familiar with his views is that I find they've been inaccurately or incompletely reported. When I do listen to him in full, he speaks with civility, and his full context has usually been lost. This disappoints me in my profession. That is what I'm saying.

Fox’s Brian Kilmeade suggests that the "uncooperative" homeless and mentally ill should face a modern-day final solution —involuntary lethal injection ("just kill them"). (He wasn't fired, btw.) Decomposing dictator would be down w/that plan, given he told his nephew to let his disabled son die.

what we’ve seen from the right is the most insane case of cancel culture i’ve ever witnessed. the left has never even done close to a fraction of a fraction of what they want to do now

1. In the immediate aftermath of Charlie Kirk's shooting, the WSJ laundered claims that "transgender symbols" were found with the shooter's gun. Now, a press conference reveals that NO such symbols were found. WSJ owes a full retraction and apology. Subscribe to support our journalism.

erininthemorning.comPress Conference: No "Transgender" Or "LGBTQ" Symbols Found At Kirk's ShootingYesterday, several media outlets claimed or strongly implied that "transgender symbols" were found at the scene of the gun used by Charlie Kirk's shooter. This turned out to be false.

hey the people that stormed the capitol and erected gallows to murder elected leaders want you to know that political violence is not ok

and they've all been fucking silent about the colorado shooting today too

may@maysuser.name

charlie kirk has received infinitely more sympathy and support from liberals than every single trans person, immigrant, and palestinian combined

The fact that MSNBC contributor Matthew Dowd was fired for accurately (and honestly being rather soft by simply calling him "divisive") describing Charlie Kirk's bigotry is actively concerning.

rightwing media ecosystem operates by stoking hatred and anger and divisions every single day, they want people to constantly be afraid and want people to hate eachother, everything we are seeing is a result of the destablization the right has profited off of
