This is what I meant when I said ALL of Epic's products must be cut out if you want to be anti AI. You just know they're gonna do this shit to Unreal 5.

"We vibe coded a new Epic Games Launcher" because "programming is hard", announce company we're somehow supposed to see as a serious Steam competitor https://bit.ly/4hMHbi5

I found out today that this film exists

DreamWorks’ 'Forgotten Island' is one of the year's best-reviewed films and received stellar audience scores. Sadly, that wasn't enough to get people into theaters. The original animated feature opened to just $12.8M domestically and $20.65M worldwide. www.cartoonbrew.com/box-office-r...

just realized I have rain world, I could stream it, you can watch me thrash and cry and hypershift my already frail wrist right out of the plane of existence, think about it

I think it would be really funny if Chapter 5 released on July 1st since it's technically not the first half of 2026.

The professional testers are familiarizing themselves with the game now. They begin formally testing on April 1st. Japanese translation quality assurance is projected to be completed in April. Outside of addressing bugs and translation, most of the development team has moved on from Chapter 5.

A long-standing user request, sorry I kept you waiting - The Amazing Digital Circus Font & Logo Generator is live now! It's those balloon bubble letter effects that took all the time to figure out how to do properly. Hope you guys have fun with it!

People are going to have a different opinion than you, and you have to be comfortable with that. I'll repeat this until you go deaf as a result if I have to.

Anyway, the game looks pretty good so far. I've finally started to warm up to the designs, and my thoughts on them are positive overall. I'm not sure I like the changes to the dialogue though; it seems like the took the simple yet effective exchanges for something more "marvel quip." ~esque.

Star Fox 64 was made as a spiritual successor to the original Star Fox for the Super Nintendo. They then remade Star Fox 64 for the 3DS and called it "Star Fox 64 3D." Now, they're remaking it again, but this time, they're just calling it Star Fox? Scott the Woz is about to have an aneurysm.

I don't know if this is a hot take, but the mentality of "big number = better engagement" is very antithetical to the purpose of art, and any artist going in with that mentality has chosen the wrong hobby.

Oh my god bruh you only have 300 followers here, of course you’re not getting as much engagement

The mass industrialization of art, even in the freelance space, is one of many (and there are MANY) reasons I feel why stuff like AI is a problem. When all you're worried about is how well your work does statistically, it saps away the passion which gives human art its appeal.

You're more than welcome to continue feeding an endlessly starving machine in exchange for a 5 digit number with no meaning, but if you want your art to be seen by actual people, there is no better place than here.
