Oh, Big Bird!

An afternoon’s work. Random color drawn from the Deck of Many Colors. Fantasy card 30

Still not great at OSL painting, but this was a good practice piece.

One is an early 90s movie about a deranged, antisocial person who's incapable of functioning in society and trying to somehow insert himself back into his old life with increasingly freakish disguises and the other is Darkman.

The orcs from Bones V feel like illustrated and animated orcs from Middle Earth and I wanted to do something different with them. So I took my first steps into a zorn palette. Aside from a basecoat in burgondy wine (I am becoming a convert!), it’s just the four colors mixed.

latest Greek Odyssey batch

Lately, if a Leadership memo ended with “… so get out there and Kill, Kill, Kill.” I don’t know many people would think it out of place.

I painted these minis as gifts for the kids of the players in my D&D group. Letting go and just having fun was what it was all about. I still have one to do: a holstein friesian minotaur.

Mecha Time! Painted in the parade colors of the 9th Ghost Regiment of the Draconis Combine. I just wanted an excuse to try out some blossom artwork.

It's been a hot minute, but I have been painting. Along side the Battlemechs I have been working on painting some Mythical Beasts from a collection of Reaper miniatures.

I stumbled into a new (to me) winter camo. I think I am going to do this one more and work on refinements.

Latest works .. Orcus is a Reaper miniature, but he has some old-school Games Workshop vibes.

Wyrmgear is a whole lot taller than I had expected. I am happy with how the wings came out. OSL is still a challenge for me. I like the idea of the fire inside seeping out through some vents.

Here's my take on Asterius the Fire Peddlar by Reaper Miniatures. In my game world, I imagine this smug guy is semi-retired fire wizard who loves hanging out with halflings and getting high on the leaf while setting off fireworks to wake the dead (Litterally). Base by @thefairydoor.bsky.social

Trans rights are, in fact, human rights. Pass it on.

Listen to the victims, not the accomplice.

I picked up the color cubes to break myself out of color ruts. The first random draw has been fun to do. Five paint pots only (ignore the lasers) and blend as needed. Marigold yellow isn’t as orange, but i am feeling good about that combo regarless. One done three to go.

Further WIP

You don't even have to squint your eyes hard to see that the US Senate is OG DEI.

Fozzie Bear is one of my heroes.

Is this a platform for WIP pictures...

And here we are. Maybe I'll post more thoughts here, and keep the cesspool for contact information.
