This route radicalised me to the idea that some of the hays code queer coding tropes, when in kinder and thoughtful hands in the modern day, still has the juice. I'll be thinking about Bertrand withdrawing fighting to the death consent and Deitrich accepting it until my grave.

I got sent a key for this one weeks ago, and it has been stewing in my brain since. A powerful story for the current moment, but also digging deep into stuff that hits hard even if my life as a straight, mostly-comfortable white guy doesn't allow me to relate so fully. For the Mouthwashing crowd.

This legitimately happened to me once. Guy on the interstate had a capuchin crawling around his passenger seat. The monkey wasn't even wearing a seatbelt.

Plus people are also so bad at it The response to bigotry is "fuxk off" not "akshually they did some really good stuff 700 years ago 🤓" With allies like these you don't need enemies

Brazilians recommending not to amplify right-wing talking points by dunking and quoting, as a winning strategy Next day, my tl is full of people dunking on rfk jr I literally would not have seen the bigotry if it wasn't for y'all repeating it. That's exactly what the Brazilians were on about!

I'm trying to differentiate Song of Skumalfar, Sicrlerunners and Gig Ecnomny Superhero from Beastiary Beas, by experimenting with different structures of storytelling. Beastiary Beas is like a chaotic maximizing growth of words and protagonists, so any like 'order' to the other stories will work

I'm letting Fortune's Weave take the wheel with Skumalfar with a kind of 8-petal strucutre idea, Sirclerunners as a Road Trip Through Hell and Superhero as like... Almost wanna make it like a List of Guys? haha if it's about Superheroes competing in a job market, it feels apt!

That Uchikoshi interview is like all time goat-washing material. "I had to make my own company, because Kodaka and everyone was so smart and cool and I'm just so useless and talentless" that's not really cute man you're 52 "also we should use AI to do neverending detail tweaking" it's over dude

Reading this Famitsu interview Uchikoshi did and it seems that the reason the Crash Keys game was canceled was because *Uchikoshi* wanted to use AI, not the publisher. This snippet is driving me nuts. Makes all the posturing with Hundred Line read extremely shallow.

She's not just "a congresswoman", she's the co-author of the biggest brazilian worker rights bill of the decade, if not of the century (it eliminates the possibility of having job positions with 6 work days per week)

During the brazilian elections we learned one obvious but important tactic to defeat the far right on the Internet and I think everyone should know it: IGNORE THEM! DON'T ENGAGE WITH THEIR CONTENT! DON'T MAKE CONTENT REACTING TO THEM! DON'T HATE QRT! LET THEM ALONE IN THEIR BUBBLE!

Brazil’s results tonight are a big endorsement for the idea that every country should have a second “are you you sure about that” election a couple weeks after the first one for the important stuff

Brazil was of two huge election results today—alongside the defeat of the nationalist, authoritarian leader of Serbia: "the slate of candidates selected by protesting students had won at least 135 seats in Serbia’s 250-member legislature" www.nytimes.com/2026/10/25/w...

The infamous "WET YOURSELF..." Super Mario Sunshine print ad is often posted online without context, leading many to believe it is fake or fan-made. However, it is very much real, appearing on page 130 of issue 119 of the British Nintendo Official Magazine.

Even though I still need to hit credits before penning my review, I appreciate how so many of the English Village in the Shade reviews explicitly point out how the game deliberately questions what appeals to people about "cozy farming sims", and has a conversation about that.

One magnificent year of Bauulp's incredible performance as Rabbit, and also every other iconic bit from that series that'd take too long to list.

63 - Many Nights a Whisper Played this to get excited for Sledgehammer, it was 99% amazing, but for a game about questions without awnsers, I felt pretty led by the ending. I felt a way and the game was like "No you don't" Lmao pretty giant flaw for a game like this imo!
