This week was the week I switched from VSCode centric workflow to Ghostty + tmux only needed VSCode to read diffs and don't write code myself anymore. overkill and resource hungry worktrunk hooks to open a 4 panes tmux window with, claude, lazygit and home made TUI on worktree creation is golden

I'm not sure if VSCode crashed on me or if it became sentient and figured: "fuck it, I'll show you what you actually use me for and get rid of the rest"

There it is! Finally, a real solution for how to style all of the HTML form controls using your own custom CSS to change anything — building on an interoperable UA set of defaults. First, styling the in-page part of controls + the popover for <select>. (Later we’ll do popovers for more things.)

It’s time for THE charger. Today, the USB-C becomes officially the common standard for charging new mobile electronic devices in the EU. It means better-charging technology, reduced e-waste, and less fuss to find the chargers you need! #DigitalEU

Hot take 🥵: C# on the backend is a serious upgrade compared to #typescript + node. Adaption from TS to C# is very smooth. I’ve been using it for only a week within a very clean repo, might be honeymoon phase but still, I’m surprised to be enjoying the move this much.

if you're a tech journalist in the present climate, it's incumbent upon you to ask why big tech is pursuing dead ends like AI when they could just start using the number 2. ones and zeroes have taken us as far as they can. either chuck a few 2s in there or cede the future of tech to those who will

Loads of quality of life stuff in React 19. Much appreciated! - ref as regular props - all the form handling hooks - the scripts, meta, etc... tags support - the `use` hook Probably a ton of under-the-hood improvements. Thanks a ton @react.dev!

You are up to date.
