I played the demo. It feels like someone started at "what if Banjo-Kazooie didn't have combat" and then minmax'd all their efforts into movement mechanics as tight as they are charming. Definitely worth an hour or two of your time to check it out.

my favorite fact about the SMW prototype scans that i had a part in scanning is that a few of them were printed huge on the page and therefore retained a TON of detail, in some cases SO sharp to the point the scanlines from the CRT projector they used can be faintly spotted!
