I once wrote "Vincent had tried to become a god and instead fell to Hell; Vox had wanted a partnership with Alastor but settled for enemies" and that needs an addition of "Vox sought to be worshipped by all and had instead ended up reviled by all of Hell." He really can't catch a break.

1) Through a majority of history, Christianity was a lot less Charlie and a lot more Lute. The ethical message of HH is one most of us can agree with, but the idea of radical redemption is modern--Lute seems like an outlier, but 500 years ago, she would have been perceived as the reasonable one.
