As a former HS principal and college professor I would feel obligated to advise my students to beyond the moral and ethical implications; think hard about what it will mean, going forward, to have ICE agent on your resume.

" Washington Post Lays Off More Than 300 Journalists" This is why the: it's okay when they come for thee and not for me strategy never works. Evil has an insatiable appetite and intends to swallow and destroy all elements of goodness and truth in the world. Stay blessed @karenattiah.bsky.social

I want to say something about this brave security brother, whose name I don't know. He grabbed that MAGA attacker without knowing what was in that hypodermic needle; possibly placing himself at grave risk. #trulyappreciateyoubro

Re: Marcus Freeman; many are quick to judge the intentions of others; several of his players will be entering the NFL draft (including some who may go undrafted and still reach the NFL); why should he risk them getting injured in a game designed to fatten the pockets of a corrupt NCAA organization?

As a life-long professional educator, I'm so finished with the "Our thoughts and prayers..." throw-away insincere phrase. Why can't we as a society seriously get guns out of the hands of anybody who wants one. #stop-it! #stopeasyacesstoguns

Interesting responses to my GOP budget question: "Why do poor, working and middle-class white Americans continue to support them?" Full disclosure: I worked in govt. in three GOP states in 10 years; am I to believe that white folks who need and receive food stamps don't know they need food stamps?

Man. What do we do against this.

Christ. Just came downstairs to find my dad watching an entirely AI-generated YouTube video about an event that didn't happen involving the Pope. Had to convince him the whole think was fake. "How can you tell?" he asked. He has five degrees including a PhD.

Dems are saying to themselves and being told by others, that they need to "Speak to the needs of US working people" But this GOP budget and POTUS anti-working-class executive orders are clearly seeking to hurt the working-class and speaks to the greed of the already wealthy. Something's wrong here.
