Now, I will say, I know your tastes, and I am going to operate under the assumption that you like your attachment grown into a beastly fern, but lemme know if I am assuming incorrectly as I open up my heart and show you the seedlings of longing that could be yours today for 0 down and 6.9% APR

I’ve decided to revolutionize 1v1 strip poker with a dice pool betting structure. Lets see if it holds up in practice 👀

This. Look. People are gonna be confident. If you know you have grounded reasons for believing what you do, might as well be you, right? Someone with lower standards will be confident if you aren’t.

I’ve been jamming with @dizzybreak.bsky.social on her personal game project and just got finished with a pass on most of the game’s camera shakes and controller rumble. Needs some iteration but I’m really happy with how it’s turning out! #gamedev Can’t wait to start tuning hitstop 👀

I came to this conclusion 4 months ago (that it was neotaylorism) and realised about a month ago is it can't perform expertise, just produce symbols which contains the impression of expertise and when the difference matters, it matters a lot

watched Paprika again for the first time in a long time and boyyyy Atsuko sure is a plural icon huh me identifying so strongly with these characters should have been a clue...

My favorite part of Code Geass is when Lelouch confronts his father, a fascist TESCREAL occultist autocrat, Lelouch rejects him purely on the basis of “look bro fact of the matter is that here and now you made my life suck and you do not care” and yeah that’s literally just it

Holy shit last night I watched Look Back with the woman who inspired me to really stretch my wings and become a creative and I’ve never felt more like I’m living a fairy tale life than I did crying with her about the movie.

No joke. I think this is the most important video I have ever seen about mobile games. This guy breaks down how this game psychologically profiles you, and makes the game harder or easier in order to show you ads

People do not serve systems - systems serve people. We have a duty to those systems only as much as those systems serve our neighbors.

Look im just saying that if bitcoin could generate sentences that make as much sense as C-to-C-level emails (that youve been CC’d on, of course) written at 7 AM or PM do, blockchain wouldve avoided the trough of disillusionment this long too

Ive had a ROUGH week but holy shit all of my partners have shown up for me through it all. Im VERY thankful to have the people around me that i do now.

"Against edgelordism in all its forms" is becoming a foundational principle for me. Civilization is impossible without an unflinching commitment to pro-social behavior and a willingness to marginalize any deviation.

Alien remake/reboot where the human cast is slowly replaced by muppets who are convinced that they’re the same person as the body that incubated them. Of course the human characters have the names of the muppets - the first one to go is Pepe Prawn the engineer, introduced to us by his nickname King

Horror remakes where everyone but one actor is replaced by Muppets. Starting with Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

The main character, of course, is Miss Margaret Swine, the only woman on the ship and a curvy queen willing to be ruthless. Her interactions with the felted quickly become petty and trite. They start calling her by her nickname, Peggy. Later in the movie, she sees herself in the mirror, and

I have spent most nights curled up around this pillow since I received it last Christmas. It’s the rare drop on my loot table.

“Does this change make the game more fun, yes or no” is almost never the right framing to start with! That’s before we even get to the actual opinion, haha

It’s pretty amusing to me that, arguably, it’s perfectly within the spirit of dialogue to respond to this post with a gif. Nathon Fillion looking stumped? Why yes, sometimes we do just want to express something simple but poignant.

Increasingly concerned re: people offloading vital cognitive processes by using GIF replies. Expressing snark with words is a core part of being human, don't let some GIF picker widget a startup preloaded with clips of mid range TV shows take that from you!

Gif reacts and twitch chat, to me, seem to speak to a desire to be present and expressive without being individually substantial. I don’t think that’s regression - it has the same place in life as cheering in a crowd does.

I think the chorus of gifs in response to this post is actually somewhat beautiful - to me it reads like a rowdy crowd gathered round someone preaching their philosophy from a soapbox. The dystopian part is actually that we’ve been reduced to doing this sort of thing on the net. 👉👉

My #1 piece of advice is “question your assumptions.” It’s the one tenant of living I take absolutely everywhere - it’s my first advice for art, for relationships, for living with ADHD, for cooking, for playing, for loving.
