The first SIGNAL LOST Development Update in 2 years is now live on ModDB, featuring a 16 minute long devlog, an absolute load of new Episode 1 & Episode 2 media, and several weapon model showcases. Hopefully it'll of stacked the weight! Link to the video, article, and more below!🧵

for some reason Plex added 'Rip" to my copy of Darkness and my friend group latched onto it so much that their go-to weed smoking euphemism is now some variation of "ripping a fat Leif Jonker"

These movies are definitely flawed but if you can stick with them, the highs are *extremely* high. Some of the coolest/scariest imagery you can see in a movie!

Thinking about what scared me as a kid is funny because literally one of my earliest memories is walking in the room while my mom and her friend were watching Death Dream (1988) during a scene where a lady slaps a dude and his head flies off and sprays blood everywhere, but...

that didn't bother me at all! My mom has always been very into horror and I saw plenty of stuff from "actual" horror movies as a kid that didn't phase me. This goofy ass Tales from the Crypt episode where a gorilla eats a guys brains scared the *piss* outta me though lol, not totally sure why.

Actually, I was also really scared of Bigfoot around the same time. I loved watching Discovery channel shows about cryptids but they scared the shit outta me, way more than horror movies. Aliens (as in greys) too. They showed that "alien autopsy" video on TV one night and I was SO scared of it lmao.

ARES// Made a brief updated ModDB trailer because the other ones feel so outdated after the last year, it's nothing too flashy but I wanted to at least get something more up to date out to properly show stuff off.

only did a few tomato plants this year because doing 7 last year was kinda overwhelming lol. a little sad that it's been a few months and haven't had a single Roma make it past green (i think some creature has been taking them). made some focaccia with the small boys tho and it was very good!

i have no attachment to ocarina of time but i think it's actually extremely cute/inspired that his little tunic looks hand crocheted

once again, thinking about that GTA4 reveal trailer that's basically just doing Koyaanisqatsi lol. but it worked! very efficiently sells the scale of the game and the difference in tone from the previous entry. watched this so many times back when it came out

Jesus, as an editor, the GTAVI Extended Look thing.... trailer.... something(??) is the worst, most weirdly edited thing I've seen in ages and that's wild. I felt unmoored, completely contextless narratively and emotionally. Why do none of the songs have bass. Why no edits on the beat. ow my brain

every single day there’s a new video game esoterica video and it’s ten minutes of him going wow another rexglue 360 vibe coded recomp, like and subscribe. it’s so depressing what’s happened to the retro game modding scene the past year or so

in my last video i talked a little bit about how i feel the "noclip" element of backrooms is kinda under-utilized, but Pim *really* nailed what i was trying to say with that here lol. really cool video, check it out!

I was so happy to speak briefly about the live-action Uzumaki manga adaptation from 2000 and also mostly about how i hard it was to obtain japanese horror movies when i was a teenager. Great list from tons of cool people with lots of movies i have to seek out now!

New post! We’ve got a big one today, folks. In honor of Japan’s spooky season, I asked 10 of my incredible horror expert friends to each recommend a work of Japanese horror they wish the world talked about more! You WILL walk away with at least one new ghoulish delight to love. Enjoy!!

This was the original pen sketch, I wanted to honor the film and expirement a bit with collage myself! Bonus Hollows in the corner.

Big thanks to Baxter for letting me write about the Fatal Frame movie for this! Here's a fun Fatal Frame film fact: during the scenes where we see thru the lens of the Camera Obscura, you can hear the same "spooky ghost sound" as in Fateful Findings, another F.F. movie. Coincidence? Who can say!

a couple of years ago i started an ironman character on OSRS having never touched the game before and it kinda blew me away just how interesting it is and how completely incorrect its reputation of being "a simple game where you grind" is. there's really nothing else like it. really enjoyed this vid

Just to give 1 example, traveling in RS is more interesting than maybe any other game i've played. going from one place to another involves thinking about so many different variables (travel methods, limited inventory, skill-gated shortcuts, etc.), and it's so satisfying to plan/execute your route.
