“Cross-dressing is the fantasy of the possible, and war is the opposite” This line comes from La Bola Negra. I wrote about why you need to watch it at the cinema, following its US release. I watched it couple of weeks ago in Spain and I can’t stop thinking about it 💔 marinaaisa.com/blog/persona...

Today I visited Zhangjiajie in Hunan, China! 🇨🇳 Maybe the most impressive natural park I’ve ever seen. 🤯 Also, I’m officially obsessed with jasmine tea lattes now. 🐉

My final stop was Shanghai. It’s full with culture, food, temples, art galleries and endless shops. It's super clean and there is barely no pollution, all the cars are electric. It wasn't like this few years ago, the city has improved a lot. Shanghai is my new favourite city. I was so impressed 💥

If you hold a passport with eligible 30-day visa-free entry to China, I recommend you going before it ends by the EOY (Dec 31, 2026). After travelling across the world, visiting China has been the most inspiring, futuristic and fascinating trip of my life. Can't recommend it enough. 🤯

After Chongqing, I spent two days in Xi’an. The temples and history there are fantastic but the Terracotta Warriors at the Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s Mausoleum were truly mind-blowing. 🤯🤩

Before Zhangjiajie, I went to Chengdu (Sichuan), which I loved too. Such a nice city, with historic buildings and modern architecture all mixed together. Very recommended! I also loved the Dan Dan Noodles and their love for pandas 🐼🌶️ Next stop: Chongqing! 🤖

Thanks @css-tricks.com for adding my notes of @webengineshackfest.org in this edition! ✍️🤩 I hope to see more new faces in Galicia next year! 🐙

The only good thing about boiling in the north of Europe is that the south of Europe has been boiling for the last 15 years and maybe if we all boil together, we'll finally do something about the causes of climate change. 🐦‍🔥🌡️🤞

Previous years, I walked alone the English Way: Stages 1 to 5 (completed ✅ since it's the shortest) and the Portuguese Way: Stages 21 to 25. El Camino de Santiago is the best cultural, nature and sport experience you can have in Europe. I’m a big fan so feel free to ask me anything about it! 🚶‍♀️

What is the difference between FedCM and Passkeys? 👉 Passkeys are direct 1st-party credentials, while FedCM manages 3rd-party federated logins (e.g. "Sign in with Google"). 👉 They complement each other: FedCM eliminates the need for sign-up forms while Passkeys offer highly secure accounts.

"AI is an amplifier". I can't agree more. That developer opening terrible PRs to your codebase didn't suddenly regress because of AI. They were always unskilled, AI simply removed the limits of their scope, exposing what was already there. Same happens in reverse too, fortunately.
