Lula winning is great for the planet, great for Brazil, and great for people who aren't revanchist assholes everywhere in the world, but let's not forget that it's also going to make some of the worst people on Earth extremely sad and mad. We should enjoy that, as a little treat.

In his acceptance speech, Lula says he will work to regulate digital platforms in Brazil. β€œDigital crimes must be dealt with like real-life crimes.” This comes after Meta directly interfered with the Brazilian elections, favouring FlΓ‘vio Bolsonaro.

VučiΔ‡ and especially his network behind him were essentiell for Russia's meddling into Serbia. VučiΔ‡ also had a rather close relationship with associates of Trump. Grenell and Jared Kushner were in the Serbian capital, discussing "infrastructure" projects.

El-Sayed: This is like the 3rd campaign stop where Donald Trump can't help but mention somebody's ass. When I get to DC, I'm just gonna make sure that I never let him see mine…

Khanna: I kind of feel bad for James Carville. It’s like watching an athlete who’s been in ten seasons too long, and you know he’s lost his fastball. Someone has got to just say, β€œJames, you had a great run in 1992. Just enjoy retired life.”

A stunning defeat for a Trump-aligned right-wing leader in Europe. Serbian President Aleksandar VučiΔ‡, whose government cultivated close ties with Donald Trump and his family, has conceded defeat to a student-led opposition movement in a historic parliamentary election.

my main takeaway from the cheesecake factory thing is that I remain extremely sad we never got an obama versus trump general election matchup obama would have broken him in half, rural dipshit whispering powers or no

The fact that the president's doctors are giving him the dementia test over and over again -- tracking his decline, most likely -- and that the president keeps bragging about having to take that test should be a five-alarm fire.

Trump: "You know, the first question -- they have a lion, a snake, a giraffe, and a bear. And they say 'which is the snake?' ... by the time you get to number five a lot of people are left out on the road ... I get no credit for it."

The same US president who treats our friend Canada as an enemy is trying to give Alaska to Russia, a country whose absolutely overt foreign policy is to destroy us. This superpower suicide has to be stopped. www.ft.com/content/e9cf...

He has made it clear that you can rape a woman and STILL be the President. That you can endlessly defame the victim and STILL be the President. That you can boast about sexual assault and STILL be the president.

Absolutely disgusting, but what can we expect from an adjudicated rapist and a congenital liar?

Q: Amy Acton's stepfather was indicted for rape. Now that you know all that, sir, do you change your mind about the ad? Trump: No. I don't care

Imagine being a CEO of an US energy company and thinking that you work with close associates of the Trump family, only to find out that behind them is a sanctioned Russian company, really pulling the strings.
