I know many MPs are now asking their constituents to inform them of problems with EVRi deliveries, especially in the run-up to Xmas. This major issue affects every area of the UK, and the public and businesses are very concerned.....

....good to see many MPs asking about this, and urging their constituents to provide them with details regarding problems with EVRi.

Ofcom absolutely needs far stronger powers to hold RM to account. And other delivery companies, like EVRi....this is all a race to the bottom, and the public and business and the workforces pay the price. This has been said here for the last two years.

"Evri and Yodel last for fourth year in a row"....almost two years after EVRi appeared in front of the Business and Trade Committee.

Late deliveries. Missed post. Frustrated customers. Royal Mail’s performance has to improve. In the Commons, I pressed the Government on whether it will give Ofcom the powers it needs to hold Royal Mail to account and drive higher standards. Watch below.

What is also true is that Brexit was never 'closed'. The issue has remained a running sore that will not heal since 2016.

#bbcbreakfast Brexit has not been “reopened because of Andy Burnham”, but because: - it’s turned out to be a costly mistake - geopolitics shows we can’t rely on the US, but need to work with our neighbours with whom we share common interests - the public has turned against it

Super-rich get ‘double dividend’ from causes and costs of climate crisis. They profit from polluting industries, and through the ‘adaptation economy’. Super-rich buy govts, control means of production and think tanks. Victims pay higher prices for food, homes, relocations. Who governs?

In my 25 years as an NHS nurse, I saw extraordinary advances in medicine, but too many innovations were slow to reach patients. Could AI help change that and deliver a better NHS? I explore the opportunities and challenges in my latest article 👇🏿 www.politicsuk.com/p/making-ai-...

politicsuk.comMaking AI Work for NHS PatientsDrawing on 25 years as a district nurse, Paulette Hamilton MP argues that AI must deliver real improvements for NHS patients and staff.

Something we better do here in the United States the first chance we get. Are you listening, Democrats?

That's right. Gain power and crush fascists. Enough is enough.

There needs to be an independent, non-partisan, commission created to appoint all Federal judges (including the Supreme Court Justices) on merit. The law needs to protect this commission and its head from political interference. All current SC Justices should be removed and made to re-apply.

Exactly Tom.....they really need to get their act together don't they? There needs to be real meaningful consequences for Trump and his lot once the Dems gain power. Furthermore, all the 'presidential pardoning' nonsense needs to be ended darn quick....

This idiot has executive powers, including the pressing of the nuclear button (regardless of the midterms, and much else).....how can even any Republican possibly want this erratic fool in charge of that?

Thank you Bracknell and Wokingham College for inviting me to address your AI Skills Summit on Friday Digital literacy has never been more important, but in a world of AI we also need more focus on the very human skills AI will never be able to replicate.

Every great new chapter needs a name: Gwyndod. At Coleg Menai I met apprentices building skills for careers in nuclear to hear about their training and ambitions. The Gwyndod SMR project could support 3,000 skilled local jobs at peak construction, including over 300 apprentices.

Yes. I expect the public across the world to reject Trump-style chaos and evil. Any Republican who wants to be associated with Trump and his diminishing cohort brings shame upon themselves.

This is an opportunity to get some substance into the notion of "doing politics differently". For me, amongst other things, this means doing things outside of the electoral cycle. I need some serious demonstration that this 'doing politics differently" is meaningful, and not vacuous.

It's an utter disgrace. The question 'is politics REALLY going to be done differently?'.....if so, lets have some meaningful changes, to timescales, and with consequences.

It’s exactly this kind of behaviour which undermines trust in Parliament and which I was keen to call out in last week’s House of Lords reform debate in Westminster Hall. Check out my contribution here ⬇️
