#bbcbreakfast Brexit has not been “reopened because of Andy Burnham”, but because: - it’s turned out to be a costly mistake - geopolitics shows we can’t rely on the US, but need to work with our neighbours with whom we share common interests - the public has turned against it

“Farage campaigned for Trump in the last 3 presidential elections and notably came to his defence at a low moment when Trump fell badly behind in 2016 over his grotesque “grab ’em by the pussy” remarks” Farage will never dump Trump. He owes too much to MAGA money and the far right oligarchy.

Andy Burnham has stated clearly that Brexit was a costly mistake, and has promised to look at the options for our future relationship with our European neighbours. Turns out that the most popular option is to become a member of the EU

Best for Britain@bestforbritain.org

A new YouGov poll commissioned by Best for Britain found that restoring EU membership is the most popular option for the UK’s relationship with Europe in 628 of GB’s 632 constituencies. The polling suggests that full membership itself is becoming a mainstream preference across the country.

Farage honks his mouth off about ongoing police investigations, when told not to. His Welsh leader is in prison for taking bribes from Russia. He whips up riots. He’s in bed with Trump, foreign money, crooks and crypto billionaires…. A massive problem with national security is Farage himself.

Pressure building up at and beyond Labour Party Conference because: - Brexit even more costly than predicted, hurting economy & damaging public finances - Geopolitical situation: aggressive Russia in east & unreliable USA in west - British public now has a steadily growing majority for rejoining EU

If Manchester City won titles for over a decade by cheating, then a fine or a points deduction this season is inadequate. Surely the titles won during that period should be given to the teams that came second (or deduct, say, 10 points from each season and see who wins then)
