I love this photo of Louis Pasteur in his laboratory. Pasteurization is such a cool process and it's been amazing getting to design pasteurization systems for a living. #STEM

I have no words. This was a trip. Everyone needs to see this, I loved every minute but have no idea what to think. #YouCanSeeEverything #A24

I am a huge fan of H.R. Giger's artwork and the Alien creature design, so this was a very cool animatronic to see this Halloween season!

Global protein consumption has increased by 1/3 since 1960 More than half of this new growth has come from animal sources, despite plant protein still making up 62% of all protein supply Reversing this trend & being clear on plant protein wins (fibre, planetary health, equal muscle gain) is key

I would likely be brought in front of my employer’s HR department if I linked to it so I won’t, but people, if you’re not enjoying The Onion’s InfoWars, you are missing out on the greatest comedy of the age

I remember watching the first episode of Peaky Blinders with my dad when it came out, and the episode was great, but it wasn’t until Sam Neill’s Inspector Campbell had his first big scene that we turned to each other and said “this just got good” RIP to the legend

Just saw a photo of Sam Reid before he played Lestat, with short hair and normal people clothes. We need to immediately pass a law banning that man from cutting his hair or letting any straight man dress him. This is a matter of national security.

In moments like these, When rain clouds Tease me from near hills, Having skirted the valleys In shades of grey, I am aware of the drought; The parts that beg for Water for this fire. Quench me, Rain down on my soul Let me feel The heat that rises From cool drops On hot skin Sizzling with passion.

Saw the #Backrooms movie the other day. One of the eeriest, best horror movies I have seen in a long time. Very scary without needing a bunch of jump scares. I'm a huge fan of the Kane Parsons YouTube short films, so glad he got to make a full movie based on his art!

Idaho health officials are investigating how nearly 60 people got sick after drinking raw milk in the past two weeks. The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare says they didn't name two dairies potentially linked to the outbreak “because this is a potential risk for any raw milk producer.”

In the Late 1800s and early 1900s, pasteurization of milk saved millions of lives. It is an extremely simple process which just heats the milk enough to prevent foodborne illnesses without affecting taste. Tuberculosis, for example, was being transmitted through contaminated milk.

Good to see restaurant product developers turning to food cultures that know what they're doing, as opposed to VC-funded, influencer-touted SM darlings whose products taste like obfuscated laboratory-produced sadness.
