Season 8, Episode 7. Hilarious episode of Ricky and Morty with guest appearances from Zack Snyder and James Gunn. I appreciate their ability to poke fun at themselves and the episode is a biting critique on the state of movie franchises.

I’m a sucker for any comic tie in to the MCU. Even though they don’t add much to the continuity I still always enjoy getting more back story.

It’s crazy that Bruce Timm, JJ Abrams and Matt Reeves created the spiritual successor to Batman the Animated Series and literally no one talks about it.

Finished Civil War Unmasked ep 5 what a great series! Really enjoyed revisiting it the Civil War event this way. Proves how well written the original series is that there are so many other stories that can be told around the edges of it.

Finished the second Dungeon Crawler Carl book and it’s even better than the first. Looking forward to finishing the series but i have a dilemma. I have books 1 and 2 in paperback and the rest are only available in hardback!

A fun read. I’ve always loved MJ as a character and am really glad they included some stories in here where her and Peter are still together. Now get them back together in ASM you cowards!

Lantern’s penultimate episode was the best one of the series but the finale didn’t keep the momentum up and wasn’t good. It’s not a bad show but it’s not great, and it’s sure not a good comic book adaptation of the characters or a good superhero show. Two Gunn DC releases in a row I haven’t like. 😢

Lanterns is my biggest disappointment of the year. Let’s take one of the greatest space adventuring super heroes of all time and stick him in but fuck nowhere America for 6 episodes. What are we even doing?

Comics for breakfast. It’s not the best comic I’ve read but I love being in the X-Men animated series world so much that I still love it. I wish they weren’t hamstrung by having to tell stories between seasons though.

It’s not bad but maybe my least favourite issue of Absolute Batman. I think the Robins and Martha Wayne may be my least favourite of all the reimagined characters. Absolute Batman # 23 Cover A DC 2026

Carnage (2015) #1 signed by cover artist Mike Del Mundo at Toronto Fan Expo. Not only is Mike a great artist and fellow Canadian he’s a great guy too. Had a good time chatting with him this year and he’s becoming someone I target for a few signatures each year.

Catching up on ASM and I hope Peter’s cousin storyline is going to add up to something because it’s treading in some very perilous waters. Adding some serious retconning back story to some staple characters.

When I was a kid I was obsessed with the few McFarlane Spider-Man books I had that my dad got me off the spinner rack. Always wanted this one and I recently stumbled upon it at a small little table at a street festival.

My favourite book of recent memory. Devoured it in a few days. One of those books where I’m sad when it end’s because I just want to read more. A very inspiring and important message wrapped in a compelling personal story. Should be required reading for all economic students.

Great first issue! I was not caught up on the lore and they did a good job recapping and also kicking off the story. Might have to read the whole thing. Queen in Black # 1 Skottie Young Variant Cover NM Marvel 2026
