As part of my plan towards better woodworking, one of my side quests was organizing my wood hoard. The part you can’t see is the giant trash can filled with offcuts I will definitely need at some point

Add wood hoard after throwing away a crap ton of stuff I know I’ll need & keeping some stuff I will never use but still in denial about. Next up get the jointer set up & fix the comically larger sanding station I scored. Anybody know anything about troubleshooting delta electric motors?

Today I picked up the ingredients to make oxtails, slow cooked pinto beans & a vegan fishy sauce for an upcoming kimchi. They all contain veggies that will require me to not put off the prep for more than a couple of days. Present me has truly fucked over future me. Present me has no regrets

Future me here. Past me managed to melt the dongle of my pressure cooker (which featured prominently in all these recipes). Ended up cooking the “oxtails” (shank, cuz oxtails are too damn high) in the oven & started beans in a regular-degular pot. Hopefully I will live long to finish them.
