PTSD should be called stress process injury or progressive stress injury. Posttraumatic stress disorder makes it sound like something you can't treat. It's as much a "disorder" as a broken arm or kidney stone.

After medical school, I started residency in 2005. My salary was $35K. On average, I worked 80hrs/week. It was less than minimum wage. Yesterday, I learned our trainees are now making around $100k. Yes, there is twenty years of inflation there, but this is clearly proof that unions work. #medsky

100% inability to emote is a disability, but the same 100% it's the consequence of orthopedic obstruction to brain function, so it's easy to treat. (they will reduce the obstruction, a choke collar of plaque, in a breeze of a surgery (myelinectomy?) with a night or two in recovery.) #medsky
