Developed by Neal Agarwal, Wiki Spy takes images from Wikipedia and turns them into endless collages. Search for a specific topic or enjoy mysterious images in the shuffle mode ➡️ neal.fun/wiki-spy/

hi, i made a screen recorder !!! it's called Screenie and it's out now ❣️ it follows your mouse and zooms where you click, smooths your cursor, has pretty backgrounds, blurs private stuff and a lot more. no account needed and everything stays on your mac <3 try 4 free at screenie.cam

By the way. All the color information for each image is in this handy data-set: github.com/meodai/art-c...

The art section on every color page got better! Switch to palettes: each picture becomes the colors extracted from it... Plus: hide the title, let the rows drift, filter by art, pop culture or wiki, and copy any picture's colors with their names. names.color.pizza/color/berry-...

Fascinating to compare traffic with adoptions on names.color.pizza. The first wave of supporters were people who already knew me or my work. It's awesome to see total strangers adopting colors too, thanks to a newsletter and Hacker News & reddit

Only 2 spots left for founding patrons of names.color.pizza Thank you so much for all the support. I'm honestly overwhelmed by the response and so happy that my idea of asking people to help fund the infrastructure behind my open-source work turned out to be a good one. ❤️ THANK YOU!

Seeing Oklab enjoyed and used by so many is mind-boggling! I still can’t quite comprehend that I wrote a blog post that ended up as a web standard and in software everywhere. Best part is seeing so many people say they enjoy Oklab and that it is a tool they regularly use.

If you need a random color (e.g. procedurally coloring objects), you should use Oklab or Oklch color space instead of RGB or HSV. RGB may span the whole spectrum, but it does not pick fairly (leaning dark/muddy). Oklab is designed to more closely map to how we perceive color
