The legend lives on in a precinct in town of the voter who numbered 11. His ballot was said, was an absentee sent at the start of the midterm vote season! At five-thirty p.m. at the clerk's he handed it in, "Tell the spammers it's been good to know ya!"

National Tight Ends Day would be the perfect day to fire Jason Beck.

Michigan's defense has held all 7 opponents to 20 points or fewer. Since 2014, FBS teams that do that win 87% of the time. Michigan is 4-3. Jason Beck has to go. Now. Here's the data. 🧵

I can't come up with anything worth writing about. Defense was pretty vanilla (and great), and everything that happened on offense was more evidence that Jason Beck needs to be fired today. What do you want me to put a day into? mgoblog.com/mgoboard/pro...

mgoblog.comProposal: No Sharpies This WeekI'm at a loss for an X's and O's thing to write about after..that. There wasn't anything that popped out to me on defense, and offense was such an obvious playcalling disaster you don't need me to dra...

This is the 3rd & short that kicked them out of FG range. Tommy has options, and needs to know he can't take a sack at all costs. But it also shows why IU is so good. They execute this stunt to perfection, including a subtle defensive hold (never called) to turn Norton so he can't pick it up.

This is a 2nd & 6. If there's anything that can be said to be Beck's base shit it's Jet Bash opposite QB Power. They know when he's running it. They know how to murder it. And here in Game 7 he still has no counter to punish the Oklahoma response.

I've never seen a coach with a base he doesn't know how to protect. Even Brian Fucking Ferentz knew to call rollouts opposite Stretch from Ace under-center. Even Wink Martindale knew he could play QQH and rush four.

Someone asked me on the way out of the stadium how do you let Jason Beck on the plane to New Jersey next week. I don't know how you get the team on the plane to New Jersey next week if he's not at the very least given a silent demotion to assistant executive coffee procurer.

I'm not sure "why haven't you committed seppuku, think of your family's honor" will get the dignified response it deserves

@mgoblog.bsky.social and @mgoseth.bsky.social I know you've addressed in the past, but can you guys get press credentials? I feel like some pointed questions need to be asked at the next one if no changes are made to the offensive staff.

In the Special Special Edition Gandalf then informs Frodo that everyone else is at the Rivendell-Gondolin game, Hobbiton lost to Buckland on Thursday, need to beat Bree next week to stay bowl eligible.

8:35 pm on Thursday. Let's try and kick IU off the field a little quicker this week if we want this to be timely, eh? mgoblog.com/content/upon...

I've done it! I've finally finished charting PSU's first drive. It's only [checks watch] 4PM. This is your first notification UFR will not be on time this week. Thurs earliest, likely Friday.

You can tell Matt Campbell is a closet Michigan fan because PSU's entire strategy was "I bet the Big Ten refs hate Michigan and won't call shit." Good news for this week is they hate Indiana more.

I'm maybe half done with writing UFR now (charting finished in the wee hours this a.m.). Planning to just post it late tonight whenever it's ready, since tomorrow is going to be filled with Indiana content.

It's 3:44 PM on Wednesday. Not only have I finished charting the 1st half (I took a personal day yesterday), but I went one play past that and charted PSU's entire first 2nd half drive too!

From the fanbase that got super into charts to convince suspicious boomers that the late Carr years weren't great, actually, a chart to convince suspicious Gen Zs that the late Carr years weren't great, actually.

Can't decide if Nain Rouge would kick the New Jersey Devil's ass or take him to an understated pub and lecture him on the correct temperature of various local microbrews. Probably both.

1. Did Hiter fucking clamp on Tommy too? Keep has Gach and Frazier vs a DE and safety for many yards. 2. Blitz was timed up on Beck's motion from empty. 3. The play is called Bash. The diagnosis was easy. Brad Nessler and Charles Davis are just two dumb uncles talking while knowing zero ball.

Playing with short punting data. SLAP = Starting Location After Punt on punts from your own 45 and in. Tiyce is the third punter we've seen this year with a sub-ten SLAP.

Note: I can't produce long punting data just now because of data issues. Wish I could prevail upon the NCAA to track short and long punting differently. Three stats would do it: Net yards and return rate for punts from your own 45+, and SLAP inside of that.

It's wild that they knew to draw the Pennsylvania-Ohio border right where the landscape changes from majestic rivers and rolling hills of foliage to flat dirt, big box stores, toll plazas, and endless construction.
