#AZ02 Eli Crane is lying to you in his attack ads against Jonathan Nez. Crane is not supporting his constituents & his vote on HR 1 (Big Beautiful Bill) has hurt people & rural hospitals. Crane voted with Trump no matter how much pain it causes you! Vote for Jonathan Nez! #Pinks #ProudBlue #OneV1

President Trump wants to soften one of the strongest legal protections American workers have: the right to hold an employer accountable when retirement savings are mishandled. Watch @amoghvaz.bsky.social break it down 👇

Hey voters this is the legacy Republicans have given us. Oh, but hey, they still do hate the people you do so it’s cool.

ProPublica@propublica.org

A decade ago, Florida stripped a teacher of her license for sexually abusing a 16-year-old. Last year, she opened a private school there with ease. As private schools fueled by taxpayer dollars proliferate, states are choosing not to closely regulate who runs them or what they teach. (Pub. July)

Very encouraging.

It’s not just about affordability. Maybe for the first time since 1974, voters say their main concern heading into the midterms is corruption in government. Great to see.

A not-so-intelligent approach to “Super Intelligence.” On this episode of The Steady State’s Daily Swamp, we discuss Trump profiting off AI development at the expense of American citizens’ safety. Don't forget to like, share, and follow - see you tomorrow! 🐊

Oh my. Hell of a final line. Wait for it.

Trust me: whatever you’re doing right now is less important than watching this candidate interview. No spoilers, just trust:

This is disgusting, but not unexpected. The Trump administration is putting their thumb on the scales for Putin, despite the fact that it’s Russia violating the energy ceasefire.

Sounds pro-life like to me.

ProPublica@propublica.org

Our analysis found that from 2020 to 2025, the rate of deaths involving ectopic pregnancies nearly doubled compared with the previous six-year period. The uptick was steeper in states with abortion bans.

Hey SKYDANCE you cool with this? You live here too dumbfucks. The Ellisons are gonna be buried by the collapsing AI bubble and will sell the assets to the lowest bidder. So hold that deal. You may have an out with Trump Media.

When Trump says “in two weeks” or “in a few weeks,” that does not mean he has a secret brilliant plan he’s about to execute. It means he has no idea, but wants to sound like he does, while keeping attention like a TV show going “all this excitement same time next week.” We’re a decade into this.

Stand Up for Science is proud to endorse Will Lawrence @wewill2026.bsky.social for Michigan's 7th congressional district. A Stand Up for Science endorsement lets you know that a candidate is a champion of science and who will keep political and ideological influences out of the scientific process.

Excellent point.

No one against impeaching Trump officials for egregious lawbreaking and Constitutional violations points out a downside. Gets the House additional investigatory powers. That alone makes it worth it. Do you not want power or do you want the full account to stay hidden from the public? Which is it?

Diesel, gasoline, potash, etc. are physical things. Millions of tons of the stuff has to move from some locations to various other locations, facilitated by infrastructure that takes a while to develop. This isn't a video game. You can't just drag a resource bar and quickly shift where stuff goes.

Mob money and kompromat built the guy, so calling him compromised is just stating the job description. The interesting part isnt the leash, its how many Western suits still pretend the dog is walking itself.

California Dreamin’… 😎@jerasikehorn.bsky.social

The president of the United States is nothing more than a dumb criminal who has been compromised and used by Putin as an asset for the Russian Mob… Nothing more, nothing less. Any Questions?! 😎✨

Put a pin in your AI panic and read this thread because it’s not theoretical, it’s right fucking now. Clinical trials saved my life. I don’t want to be the last to benefit.

Stand Up for Science!@standupforscience.net

We scraped through the data and found that 50% of all clinical trials are at risk of being cancelled. 1,026 cancer trials 273 pediatric trials 115 heart disease trials 184 diabetes trials This is unacceptable and inhumane.

I always assumed, (naively) that Republicans would finally stop Trump when his ignorance and vanity started to hit them in their wallets, but apparently we have to wait to him to destroy the dollar and bankrupt the country and you know what, that might not even be enough.

Lisa 🇨🇦@pinkmouse.bsky.social

Global investors are balking at U.S. bonds. Talk of the dollar’s dwindling power is getting louder. Foreign governments are hauling their gold out of US vaults. Almost two years into Trump’s 2nd term, the world economy is increasingly looking for ways to distance itself from US. #Blues #SheShed

Everyone of those first responders behind him know he’s 100% full of shit. It’s shameful that they don’t just walk away and leave him alone at that podium.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump claims he was basically lifted out of the rubble on 9/11: "Two fireman, big strong guys, they grabbed me under the arms -- 'got to get our of here!' -- and they literally lifted me up, and they started running with me."

At 19, Memphis barber Darnell Wells set up a chair on the street and started cutting hair for free. His friend Zac Sherrod bought burgers so nobody left hungry. They expected two people. Darnell cut nine heads with five still waiting, and they handed out 30 burgers. 💈 #CommunityFirst

The Trump administration has halted work on a barrier system designed to keep invasive carp out of the Great Lakes. This work stoppage occurred as juvenile invasive carp were discovered closer to Lake Michigan than ever before. Read the full story:bit.ly/4h50DGg

Dem leadership really needs to wrap their collective heads around THIS!

Angry@angrystaffer.bsky.social

People are falling for the DSA vs Establishment trap again. Didn’t we learn our lesson in 2016 and 2024? It’s the establishment’s job to build a coalition that can win EVERYWHERE. In some places, that means ultra-progressive. In others, it means establishment. The tent is big enough for all of us.

It feels to me like the middle of act 2, an act that will end with Trump growing tired of the attention she’s getting and sacking her. Act 3 will be a full blown fatal attraction bloodbath. I mean maybe.

The God of Cities @thegodofcities.bsky.social

Now that the story has finally cast its Eva Braun (Natalie Harpy) I guess we're in the home stretch of the last chapter of this particular shit yarn?

I don’t think it’s a blunder at all. I think it’s purposeful, just another box to check on Putin’s honey do list.

Roadrunner33@roadrunner33.bsky.social

Trump signaling that the US will not be a strong partner in the defense of South Korea does not make us safer It’s another foreign policy blunder of great proportions and will have a chilling effect freer globally for years to come Republicans own this and it’s just appalling Vote them all out

Say it ain’t so.

The lack of supplies aboard the ships deployed to Gulf region was inevitable under Hegseth. They are supplied & supported by the 5th Fleet base in Bahrain. It was destroyed in the first days of Trump's Iran War because Hegseth failed to protect it or plan for any knowable actions by Iran.

The Senate is a broke-dick-dog. Let’s take it back and right this fucking ship.

VoteVets@votevets.org

The USS Abraham Lincoln has been at sea for over 200 days. Conditions are so bad that sailors are trying to jump ship. So what is the Secretary of Defense focused on right now? Testosterone tests. Seth Moulton has a message for Pete Hegseth: send the USS Lincoln HOME.

During COVID, medical workers filled latex gloves with warm water so the dying could feel like their hands were being held by another person as they died alone in hospitals pushed to the brink of collapse. People who downplay the horrors of the pandemic to focus on its inconveniences are fools.

People who say their personal finances are fair-to-good and improving, and also say the national economy is terrible, are not saying the national economy is terrible because they are poor and struggling. This is so easy to understand that not understanding it takes a group effort.
