Started up .Hack GU and like "Ok this is pretty fun. Dungeons are lame etc when it's not a story one but generated loot is my jam." And then reading that all 4 games just barely ever expound on that seems rough. The whole splitting one game into 4 games probably hasn't aged as well.

Finished Eiyuden Chronicles, there's honestly so much about the game I like, so much I don't like, and so much I just wish was more fleshed out. I don't even know where to begin with my feelings about it, but all considered I'm very glad I played it.

Finally after the like 15 years of having once been excited about it playing Eiyuden Chronicles. Enjoying it quite a bit now like 22 hours in but damn did I forget how rough the first 5 hours were of Suikoden games. The slowest/annoying menus to navigate through took a while to not be put off by.

Finished Nioh 3... I think Nioh 2's story is just way more satisfying than 3. Something about being with the same characters for so long made the stakes & emotional aspect way better. Still the story had great moments and the gameplay is so smooth though and there's just so many ways to play.

Enjoying Nioh 3 quite a bit but at least in the first area where the difficulty is... not there (Which is only a problem because 1 shotting weak enemies doesn't even get you acclimated to the game's systems) it's a good reminder about how games are often made worse by open areas vs crafted levels.
