Go see Wildwood. Seriously, don’t wait—go see Wildwood. What a piece of art. The love for the manual craft, for story that doesn’t hold back, for filmmaking that is not here to answer to stockholders, it weaves all through it. Incredible stuff.

Wildwood is going to lose so much money on account of being expensive as hell to make, animated, PG-13, violent, and dark. And it fucking RULES, it is THE movie of the year, and probably the decade. GO SEE WILDWOOD.

Wildwood was incredible, treated myself to it yesterday and I'm going to be thinking about it for a long time. It was absolutely worth seeing in theaters too, the sound direction and larger than life scenes completely immerse you. As I suspected from the trailers, I was crying the entire time.

FYI! If you happen to find a window strike bird or similarly dazed bird, the best thing to do is put them in a box with a little bit of cover (under the eaves of your house, or under tall trees). No need to offer food or water: they just need a safe place to recover. They know how to bird!
