BREAKING: The Pentagon has launched “FORTRESS America,” an initiative ordering major military bases in the continental US to be able to run on their own for at least 90 days. Bases will need to keep power, water, fuel and communications running independently, without relying on outside supply.

Here's Melania Trump's senior advisor Marc Beckman turning up on Kremlin TV's Вести program to tout Melania's miraculous brokering of peace between Russia and Ukraine so that a Russian-occupied Ukrainian city could be resupplied. He says that Melania has "wonderful relations with the Kremlin," too.

This is literally the end of the rule of law. If a President can pardon people committing crimes on his behalf - and the Supreme Court says he himself can't be prosecuted for crimes committed as part of his job - then the government becomes a lawless entity able to violate our rights without limit.
