Doug Ford is spending $48M ripping out bike lanes. It will not improve drive times. It will get people injured and killed. Hurl this man to the trash heap where he belongs. Throwing him in jail would also be acceptable but we all know Ontario cops will never hold him accountable for anything.

In #OntEd school boards have invested in Kevlar instead of in proactive support for students, because the PPE is a lot cheaper. This is what chronic government underfunding looks like. We need governments that see education as an investment, not as an expense to be minimized.

I'm not 20 anymore. Went to TIFF last night for the documentary, No One's Disciple, a 9:30 screening of a 2 hour movie followed by a Q&A. Caught the last train home. Now I'm headed to spend the day teaching 18 six year olds on 20 minutes sleep. But so worth it. Check it out on CBC Sept. 23.
