So my throat has not improved over the last 5 days. It’s extremely painful to swallow and it is super inflamed Caught a ride to the ER So far it is an injected pain and steroid meds and a pill antibiotic. Will find out soon if it is strep or if they gotta do a full culture (that test takes longer)

So. Forgot to say yesterday. Tuesday through Saturday will be shorter and later streams for the immediate future. Spouse works from home for a good while right now cause they closed a bridge for remodeling or repairs. it’s five weeks and so they were approved to work from home for the whole time

Nothing quite wakes you up like accidentally causing a 6 inch slice in your skin cause your nail is too sharp and you were lifting your shirt to adjust something. It’s not a serious wound. It just hurts. I’ll put some antibiotic goo on it and flatten the offending nail

Now. NOW we have plans and don’t have to worry about an infection or doc appointment interfering and since we’ve got care directions for the future. We know what to do for the future!

Today is momentous. FOUR MONTHS OF THIS LEG WOUND And today I get officially discharged! I still can call within a month in the case that the wound reopens and I’ll be taken as an existing patient. I’m so grateful for the workers here but I hope I never have to come back. FINALLY IM FREE

Frame and mattress are up the stairs and the frame’s box is in the bedroom…my body is screaming and my lungs are fighting a full asthma attack.

Yay the bed and frame arrived! What do you mean you’re down a helper? I cannot reschedule or cancel this delivery. OH BOY. 143 LBS (64KG) BED FRAME AND 115 LBS (52KG) shove and lift time.

I’ve known for the last decade that there’s little reason for me to pursue being officially declared disabled by the state because I would get zero benefits cause my spouse makes too much money. Is it enough for both of us to live comfortably? Hell no. Especially since we both have health issues!

Moving all this stuff better be worth it. If this bed is worse than our previous one…at least all this heavy lifting has shown me that my muscles haven’t atrophied. Though my heart rate rising to and sticking around 140-150bpm isn’t fun. Do not like feeling like my blood and skin are on fire.

It’s midnight and it’s 77F (25C) out…please. I need sleep. This is like “perfect” functioning temps and does not help the insomnia…
