Gosh I’m proud to be Canadian 🇨🇦 if you get the chance listen to Jean Chretien’s speech at the Gander 9/11 ceremony. At the end he had a personal message to our American friends, never mistake our kindness for weakness, he spoke of our toughness and much more. I can’t put it all with the text limit!🇨🇦

www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDhf... In Canadian politics news today, Conservative and NDP leaders are still miffed about an NDP MP’s recent decision to cross the floor and join the Liberal caucus.

I so hate what the supposed Conservative Party has become under Pierre Poilievre. Our Prime Minister Mark Carney has received the 3rd standing ovation at Davos behind Zelenskyy & Mandela & all they can do is belittle one of the best speeches I have ever heard! Saying you can’t eat speeches.

Let me just say, I’m so proud to be a Canadian! We dodged a bullet last year when we elected Mark Carney instead of Pierre Poilievre…I just saw Mark Carney’s speech at Davos and it gives me comfort and hope that we have chosen the right man at the right time! Vive La Canada 🇨🇦 🍁

So…I just need to say, shame on the liberal party @mark-carney.bsky.social @markgerretsen.bsky.social for the standing ovation for Charlie Kirk in the HOC,you can oppose political violence or violence of any kind, without honouring this hateful, horrible, bigoted man, we need to do better…

I’ll keep saying, we need an MP Accountability Act with teeth. Pension and benefits need to be on the table to loose. They cannot claim ignorance, they have applied to be able to write laws.

Well, I’ve heard some news today that makes me happy, good ole Doug Ford has agreed to pay a fee to cancel the starlink contract with Musk. (I wasn’t sure he would actually do it) The second bit is a judge has overturned his decision to rip out bike lanes in Toronto!!! Whoo hoo! It’s a good day! 😁

My house is sad and empty as I had to say goodbye to my sweet little 15 year old girl…may she have all the treats she wants…💔🐾

Hey @bonniecritchley.bsky.social at the stampede Poilievre had a presser where he said our military needed a warrior culture not woke culture. What are your thoughts???

Keeping cool and fed in my garden…

I posted this a while back, not sure if it went viral or not..

It’s a beautiful day to be in the garden, came in for a drink and to watch a bit of coverage of King Charles and Queen Camila…

So this has been on my mind since it was announced…do the 74 shadow cabinet get extra payment on top of their MP salary? Cons say they want smaller government, cut spending blah blah blah…hound them!!! This is crazy! I’ll have to look it up…

Ok, I had to delete my first post! Too many Mark Carney’s @mark-carney.bsky.social Doug Ford has sent a letter asking for support for his tunnel dream under the 401. I strongly oppose this idea. There are so many more solutions to alleviate traffic congestion! This is a big No from this Ontarian!

Ok, it’s after 10:00 am! Where is Poilievre’s costed platform? Or am to looking in the wrong places?

Oh my god! Just had to mention his rally’s! What a blow hard!

Ohhhhh…Carney is asking the question!!!!!

Lost liberal decade…arghhhhhhh…

Any #reporters here’s a question I want put to Pierre Poilievre, why do NONE of the conservative candidates attend ANY local debates! Don’t let him get away with they are busy door knocking… @ctvnews-rss.bsky.social @cbcnews-rss.bsky.social @newsglobal.bsky.social

Oh this is delightful and I recommend watching to the very end. The Carney we see on the campaign trail can talk about policy and the challenges of our world but here we see him riff on the Clash, kebab trucks, and making mix tapes for his kids. And he is having so much fun.

Hey @mark-carney.bsky.social you should make an ad and flood all platforms of news of everything that Pierre Poilievre has voted against in his 20 years in n parliament! It goes against some of what he’s promised in his campaign!

Pierre Poilievre would make such an inspiring leader… Q: what would you say to tRump about the tariffs PP: knock it off… He makes my head hurt…

Over 6000 Canadians came out to celebrate Canada today at the Elbows Up Event! So proud of everyone who participated and thanks so much to all who attended and cheered with all your hearts for our great county. We don”t bend. We don’t break. We stand. ❤️🇨🇦

Ha! Just watching Doug Ford at a presser and he finally said he is canceling the starlink contract! Whoo hoo!

Ontario elections should never have approved this snap election that Doug Ford called! There should be a rule or law that prevents winter elections! He has a year and a halfish left and already has a majority so what reason would be good enough to call a snap election in the winter?

Vote out Doug Ford for heaven’s sake! Listening to him this morning, he’s going on about strengthening AmCan…he should be canceling starlink and figuring out how to diversify our industries. Not sucking up to tRump his hero! Ugh! He’s not protecting Ontario!

This is how Ford is spending our money

Posting this every day until the election to remind Ontarians who he really is. Do not be fooled by this tough guy bullshit…the word he used was UNWAVERING. Unwavering support for trump. This is vote buying bravado - period. #votedougfordout #cuttheactdoug

Come on Ontario! Get out and vote Doug Ford out! We wonder why (well I don’t I know) our healthcare is in shambles. In 2022-2023 Ontario spent the lowest per capita on healthcare, 15.2% below the average of other provinces! Not enough doctors, ER closures etc…yet he wants to privatize everything!
