#7wolves features artwork by humans. All the artwork is commissioned and artists are paid. Bluefin bleeds for artists. But I did use AI to assemble the thing. @justingarrison.com why are we afraid of these things. Literal clankers ... gist.github.com/castrojo/f8a...

Basically @dims.dev:

Just in time for Kubecon EU this week, Agones moves it's repository over to CNCF, and we've officially become a sandbox project in the CNCF - which is a HUGE milestone! 🎉 We've still got some pieces to migrate over, and lots of onboarding, but you can now find us at: github.com/agones-de...

Woohoo! @castrojo.bsky.social kicking off Day 2 of #kubecon. Go Jorge!

@castrojo.bsky.social kicking off the end user stories at #kubecon

I was away for Halloween, but my pet sitter decided to get a costume for Ripley so she could celebrate.🤣

With sigs.k8s.io/kind + lima-vm.io on an M4 Pro it is faster to recreate the cluster after raising the system inotify limit than wait for crashloopbackoff 😂

In addition to the CHAOSS guide about demonstrating the organizational value of your open source efforts, @mrbobbytabl.es and I recorded a podcast about it! I also have a session at OSPOlogy Lyon (Nov 5 & 6) on this same topic (registration is open & free)! fastwonderblog.com/2025/10/07/m...

Snippet from a recent convo of ours

The Kubernetes community mourns the sudden loss of Han Samuel Kang, 42, a talented engineer who brought exuberance to every contribution. He leaves behind a wife and two daughters. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations: gofund.me/5ef5290f9

Happy to help in the publication of this guide. Sooo many projects and organizations have difficulty conveying the real value of their contributions; and its hard to justify continued contribution when you can't actually communicate its value.

Love the callout regarding Archived projects and that it’s okay for some projects to not move forward if. Archive also isn’t a “dead end”. Projects can come back from archive - OpenEBS recently did this with a reboot of their community :)

The @cncf.io announced a new job board dedicated to open source jobs at #KubeCon gitjobs.dev The platform itself is open source #jobception github.com/cncf/gitjobs

Full room of people coming up with ideas for new TAG initiatives! All sorts of things to help the projects.

Level-setting about project governance and health: the TOC guides CNCF projects in these areas. #KubeCon

Day 1 Keynote Megathread #KubeConIndia 🇮🇳 Channeling my inner @kaslin.rocks @bridgetkromhout.bsky.social

Keynotes about to begin at #kubecon India :D

Off to KubeCon India! see y’all in 20ish hours :D

The Talk @mrbobbytabl.es and me gave at #KubeCon NA in Salt Lake City is now on YouTube - If you are interested in the benefits of #OpenSource for your company, you should watch this talk! What is the #OSS strategy of your company? www.youtube.com/watc...

Kubernetes apparently made it into an NCIS episode - DURING KubeCon. I guess theres any clear indicator that K8s has hit peek adoption, its that it gets used as techno-jargon to explain things in TV 🤣 Thanks @thisisnotapril.bsky.social for the find. youtu.be/AzrHurE_PSI

Just finished #Arcane I have no words beyond it was truly wonderful. I can't recommend the series enough.

The session unfortunately wasn't recorded, but here are the slides from my talk at LFMS on quantifying the ROI of contributing to OSS speakerdeck.com/mrbobbytable...

Always choose desktop backgrounds as interesting as @mrbobbytabl.es does 😂

Giving my talk on a framework to quantify contributing to OSS ROI will start in 7ish min at LFMS in the Sebastian and Berigner Room!

Sage advice: "Ignore hot takes from people who watch others do the actual work." 🙃

KubeCon talks are up already. Shout out to @cncf.io for getting stuff up so quickly

I love the culture we have developed around thanking and recognizing our peers. It's my favorite part of @kubernetes.io ♥️

i have the privilege of being the program chair for 2025's @cncf.bsky.social maintainer summit, where all graduated/incubating project contributors can come together at kubecon/cloudnativecon EU in london 🤝 our first wave CFP closes soon, and getting a talk accepted gets you a ticket to kubecon!

FYI - The cncf has an official account on bsky now - @cncf.io Nothing posted yet, but will in the future 👍

Back home. It was great getting to meet everyone who could make it, I hope to see more of you in Atlanta 🤞 I'm going to need to find a better spot for these, I'm honored ❤️ Thank you to everyone who helped migrate Kubernetes' infra to the community, I'm glad we could recognize many of you 🙏

Not planned at all. We both got moved from our original seats lol w/ @onlydole.dev #kubecon

Two amazing @kubermatic colleagues received the Lift and Shift Award by CNCF @xmudrii.bsky.social and koray oksay - well deserved and thank you for your amazing work

Lifetime achievement award! @thock.in accepts by sharing credit with the whole community.💕✨💫 #KubeCon
