The dumbass is too stupid to get who paid the tariffs to begin with. We did,Chump. What a dipshit loser he is.

In last night’s Presidential address, Donald Trump promised financial presents in the New Year. “The speech had a whiff of desperation about it,” @sbg1.bsky.social writes. Does he secretly know that America isn’t buying what he’s selling? newyorkermag.visitlink.me/C45yqs

So tell us, what do we do?

Governor JB Pritzker@govpritzker.illinois.gov

A free and democratic society cannot silence comedians because the President doesn’t like what they say. This is an attack on free speech and cannot be allowed to stand. All elected officials need to speak up and push back on this undemocratic act.

I know Charlie Kirk valued debate and free speech because he blocked me for fact-checking his lies on Twitter and then put me on his organization's Professor Watchlist for writing a book he didn't like.

Can’t say on FB what I really want to say, so here it is: Charlie Kirk fomented his own demise. Don’t know why that person did it, but talking about gun deaths as an acceptable price for guns, seems like karma. Now if Trump would only meet his karma.

The evil orange ulcer can't stand being called #VPTrump. It got rid of #PresidentMusk because of that hashtag (at least, its wounded vanity was the primary cause). Perhaps #PresidentVought will trigger the same reaction in #DementiaDon.

Transparent government isn't just about seeing what's happening, it's about understanding WHY it's happening. Context matters more than data dumps.

This is Senator Jim Banks from Indiana. No need to tell you he’s a Republican—it’s clear by the cruel disdain he shows his own constituent who was laid off. Note: he waits until the door’s about to close before telling him he deserved it & calling him a “clown.” He’s not just cruel—he’s a coward.

@cnn.com why are you keeping shermichael Kevin & Scott J around? Lordy such douches. PS worrying about Tesla losing employees when musk is Willy Nilly running around firing ppl is RICH. And by rich I mean pathetic. I hope Tesla stock burns. Byeeeeee. There. I voted with my feet. That’s how it works

As you lose your shit over the Senate 10 Dems, investigate what would have happened if Trump got his shut down, which he WANTED. Who would suffer? Who would lose their jobs, permanently? Report back. What purpose would that serve? Would the courts have been shut down??? AHHHH Bingo!! Wise up.

Adam, Dem here, one who would vote for you. Pls tell the GOP (and us) and what the GOP should be doing! They have the reins!!!

Adam Kinzinger@adamkinzinger.substack.com

Hey everyone. It’s Feb 3rd, and the Democrats have been at home since Jan 24th because the house is out of session. They should have come back, the place is on fire. Get suing, messaging, demonstrating, speaking, everything and ANYTHING

After American airspace was closed on 9/11, over 230 flights with 30,000 passengers and crew were diverted to Canadian airports. Transport Canada received thousands of calls from members of the public offering to help the stranded passengers. Thinking about that today, for no particular reason.

Let me take a crack at this: Because so many people can’t conceive of how completely deranged Trump is and accordingly insist on pretending that Trump isn’t completely deranged even though everything he says and does is completely deranged?

Paul Krugman@pkrugman.bsky.social

Goldman Sachs, Jan 21: "Despite Trump’s comments that the 25% tariff will be implemented in 10 days, we continue to believe the odds of a 25% tariff on Canada and Mexico are low (20%)." Why have analysts been caught so flat-footed by Trump doing *exactly what he said he would*?
