Per CBS 60 Minutes: "The midterms are just two weeks away, and President Trump is using his power to intimidate the people who run our elections, putting the voting system under remarkable stress."

Meanwhile, Europe is developing its own satellite communications systems, and Ukraine is seeking alternatives to Starlink as trust in Washington continues to deteriorate. Threatening our allies over Musk’s business interests only gives them more reason to reduce their dependence on it.

According to the Financial Times, Trump’s ambassador to the European Union, Andrew Puzder, warned that European companies could face severe consequences if the EU adopts satellite spectrum restrictions affecting foreign companies, including Musk’s SpaceX.

This is not okay. Trump’s administration is threatening “devastating” retaliation if European officials move forward with plans that could restrict Elon Musk’s Starlink access to parts of the European market.

Elon Musk has spent at least $366 million since July to boost Republicans ahead of the 2026 midterms. That’s just 0.0385% of his total net worth. Oligarchs can rig the system at the expense of everyone else, and only spend pennies doing so. We must get Big Money out of politics.
