Today an electrician came & we asked in passing if he could look at this weird hall switch that only half worked…when he opened & tested it, IT SPARKED. It’s been sparking for YEARS 🔥

A peek at a Fire Salamander; Dormant for most of the year, during breeding and spawning seasons water meadows and swampy areas briefly come alive with the lights of their fires, often mistaken for will o the wisps or corpse lights.

I’ll be honest. Today was a tough one. I started drawing a giraffe, a monster, a horrible rabbit-thing, a top-hat-wearing cartoonish thing… and decided to go simple. Day 16 Prompt: GANGLY. I used good ol’ reliable Microns 05 and 005. #Inktober #Inktober2026

Making props today! I tried a new method of paper distressing where I edged everything, then dipped them into one of three ink washes I set up in snack baggies and a Ferraro Roche box. Pro: fast! Good level of interest/difference! Con: soooo messy! (I’m extra proud of the squashed bugs!)
