Important to remember. We have to run the table. And the more Decisively we win, the less potential for subversion.

Marc Elias@marcelias.bsky.social

The good news is that we are winning in court. The bad news is that we have to win every case. Trump only needs to subvert one election to break democracy.

Listen to him bully female candidates, female reporters and women generally, and weave that into these credible pedo claims from so many different people, and it’s obvious that our head of state is a repulsive, violent, sexually abusive degenerate, as bad or worse than anyone he has ever accused.

I know there's a lot going on but I feel it should probably be more of an above-the-fold story that members of Congress released a thoroughly documented report directly accusing the president of the United States of being a serial rapist.

TRUMP: “We didn’t start the war with Iran." LIAR! You illegally started the war on February 28 by assassinating Iran's Supreme Leader without Congressional approval. You even gave it a name: Operation Epic Fury. You said it would take 4–6 weeks. It’s been 8 months.

U.S has more than $40 trillion national debt, largely caused by Republican corruption & deregulation. Trump contributed more than $7 trillion in his first term & $5 trillion so far in his second. We face the possibility of bankruptcy—massive interest rate hikes and/or devaluation of our currency.

That’s what Fox would like their viewers to think. Rather than having them think that massive personal corruption by Trump family and insiders, and obsessive attention to vanity projects when people can’t afford to buy food and gas, is costing Republicans the middle class.

Yes, yes, the renewed accusations that the president is a serial rapist and was an active participant in Epstein's pedophilia and sex trafficking would seem alarming, but it doesn't involve the Cheesecake Factory so ...

The vile attacks on Amy Acton need to be seen in the context of a party that *needs* people to believe women fabricating sexual assaults is common as rainwater. Because it’s pretty much the only way to evade the conclusion that the president is a rapist.

Hunter Biden is very articulate. He sounds like someone who has dealt with recovery in a most positive and uplifting way, and this message is relentlessly truthful, humble and self-aware. Now contrast Don Jr and Eric. Or Javanka.

So Trump’s closing argument is that high gas prices are good because his donors who run oil companies are making bank, Jon Husted has a nice ass but not quite as good as Nicki Minaj’s ass, after 7 months the Reflecting Pool is almost done, and we get a ballroom, arch and helipad.
