🎳 Started going bowling regularly for the first time, so naturally I'm now building an app to track my scores. Looked at some existing apps, but I really don't think I need to be paying a subscription fee for this. Of course, I'm OK buying a domain and paying for hosting 🤣

A great opportunity! Get to applying people.

Uptime monitoring tools have too many features, confusing pricing, and aren't built for small teams or indies. So we built probes.dev. Add a URL, we ping it, and we tell you when it's acting flaky or goes down. $5 a month gets you 5 probes w/ status pages. Start probing today!

probes.devProbes — Uptime & Performance MonitoringWebsite and API uptime and performance monitoring for solo developers and small teams. DNS, TCP, TLS, and TTFB timing breakdowns to the millisecond. $1/site/month. Free trial, no credit card required.

Had a lot of fun building World Cup Next. Forgot how much I enjoy making simple single purpose websites (mostly for myself). Have a few more ideas to build out, no saas, no billing...none of that boring stuff 😀

Been watching the World Cup coverage on UK television, and getting more excited about the competition. Basically no coverage on US TV til now, will probably change as with get closer to the USMNT game tomorrow.

Been checking out the websites for seeing the next game for the World Cup, and as expected most of the suck, just to much going on in the pages, trying to get more page views/clicks probably. I think it might be time to recreate this beauty (not mine!)...

Surprised to hear that Liverpool are sacking Slot. Timing is strange. Clear sign we’re in a transition period for the club. Gonna be a tough year next year too, so many new players needed in the team.

At Limeleaf, we #buildinpublic. probes.dev will be simple, affordable web service monitoring for solo hackers and small teams. #Developers - are we on the right track here? Missing anything? Would you pay $5/month to monitor 5 sites and/or API endpoints? Tell us in the comments. #webdev
