River City Saga: Journey to the West was interesting enough. I don't really like how the roguelike gameplay loop interacts with beatemups as a genre, but what do you do? Well, what you do is find a 2 upgrade interaction that completely breaks the game.

i got the final fight 1CC (haggar, hardest difficulty)!!! i'll record commentary later but for now i'm very happy with myself! it's easily my favourite beat 'em up, and it's up there with gun.smoke (arcade) as one of my favourite games of all time. give it a try!

Alright, definitely not streaming this morning so I'll just leave you all with the most important part of yesterdays stream and call it good

Well I haven't had a stream go that long in a LONG time but I made it all the way through Resident Evil 4 in one go. Overall it's still a great game with a handful of spots that are just really weird ideas that didn't play out well.

Took a break for lunch and obligations but back at it, just getting into chapter 2 now

I took tomorrow off work and I've decided I want something as a change of pace, so I'll be playing through Resident Evil 4. Planning to start by 8:00 AM Central, not counting on getting through the whole game in one sitting but I'm gonna try. Maybe we'll call this the 3% progress celebration stream?

I think this gas station might be the highest concentration of out-of-order machines Ive seen and have the store still be open. 3 of their 4 pumps are down, taking cash payments only, no ice, half their sodas out, atm out of order, and coffee machine out of order.
