Nate Dee

Hello #PortfolioDay, I'm Nate. I draw sad people and ghosts. I have a soul-crushing office job and would like to illustrate TTRPGs.

You know when you can't sleep and just really want to #draw #Godzilla? That's me right now! Don't come at me with that "real" Godzilla shit either. This one's #design rocks just as much as the other ones. www.instagram.com/p/DDhopzWyAM...

Seems our masters are flesh and blood. Too bad

I never know what to post. My thoughts are buried like my blood and organs, hard to dig out and share

That monochromatic thing reminded me of my roots, that I used to do a lot of black and white stuff. And @kvalentin.bsky.social mentioned this was what she liked about my art when we first met. The helmet is usually opaque, but the clones can adjust it to reassure people with their faces.

For 1k, I'm getting as much engagement on here as on Twitter where I have close to 30k followers. That feels promising. I hate that I have to care about such things but thems the breaks. Worse is the feeling that my way of supporting myself was going the way of the dodo. Anyway here's more art :

⚡Thanks for the share!⚡ 🖤And congrats on the 200(+)!!🖤 This is what I've been doing tonight. This is the 3rd incarnation of this image...

old 'world heist' cover re-worked in b&w for the print edition. idk I have fond memories of drawing the og one on a train 2 days before the shortbox deadline but looks OK like this, too

Lines and blacks all finished for another alien commission. This one may stop here, depending on what the client thinks, so you may or may not see more ink work done on this and maybe some background stuff. On that note: folks asking about rates... www.instagram.com/p/C_USeT6yXbm/
