This. It’s the hypocritical sanctimony that drives me nuts.

Kevin M. Kruse@kevinmkruse.bsky.social

When the president was calling all Somali immigrants "garbage" who "come from hell" and "contribute nothing" to America and therefore needed to go "back where they came from" did you ask him to "stop the rhetoric," Tom?

She could have saved everybody time, and just walked over and kissed his ass. 🤦‍♀️

Rollins: I think of you as the peace president. I think about you as the prosperity president. I think about you as the affordability president…. You'll go down in history as the greatest president for the health of this country in history.

Must have been that pesky “fog of war” thing. 😉

Breaking news: The Pentagon’s top watchdog found that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth violated security protocols meant to protect U.S. troops by using a personal device to share sensitive operational details on the messaging app Signal.

Healthcare costs are skyrocketing and working families are already feeling the squeeze. As the ACA tax credits expire in less than 30 days, millions of Americans are preparing for the worst. Republicans must join Democrats in Congress to save healthcare.

Apparently true ….

While you have First Amendment rights, free speech is not unlimited. Certain categories of speech are strictly prohibited by the US government: -incitement of violence -defamation -child pornography -counterfeiting -any form of criticism or mockery of Charlie Kirk, specifically

Lengthy. But take time to watch, because she makes some good points. We can’t botch this up.

If you want to understand the upcoming fight over funding the government and why no one has a real plan yet, watch this.

Ditto. How did we reach a point where we’re treating the Constitution as something Moses brought down from the mountain? There have been 5 amendments just in my lifetime.

Call me Rick.@potusbumblephuq.bsky.social

I agree. I still puzzle over how and when the constitution became this monolithic, chiseled in stone monstrousity. Anyone who has read, particularly Jefferson, Madison and Paine understands the intent for it to be a “living” document subject to change as needed as society changed while it protected

Unpopular opinion: Sure, the hypocrisy and political attack is disgusting. But, having been honest about my 2ndary residence (later, my primary/ retirement home), and having to pay a higher mortgage interest rate for years, I say off with all their heads. Lisa Cook included. All lied on their apps.

Scott Horton@robertscotthorton.bsky.social

From the ProPublica piece cataloging high Trump administration officials who have done exactly what DOJ alleges that Lisa Cook did, yet who are not facing calls for removal or prosecution.

Buckle up, fellow elders!

AltSSA@altssa.altgov.info

Well we’ve been hearing rumors the last few weeks of a second agency reorganization and here we go!!!! Meet your new leadership team at SSA, stacked almost entirely with non-career new hires from the financial or tech industries. And2 DOGEbags. I’ll try to research them later to see how bad it is. 😬

Torres is an AIPAC shill.

“Listen man, you gotta be a human being about this. Do you feel in your heart what you’re saying is right?” @adamfriedlandshow.bsky.social presses Rep. Torres(D) on his defense of 🇮🇱. (Per @trackaipac.bsky.social , AIPAC has spent $1.5 MILLION on Ritchie) Full: youtu.be/q0Eeht171HQ?...

When trump called in the National Guard to help “clean up” DC, I didn’t think this is what he meant.

Joe Flood@joeflood.bsky.social

I feel embarrassed for these guys. Trump took them from their homes and sent them to DC to pick up trash

Dude had the temerity to say “there are consequences” for that. Neglected to add “unless you’re ex-POTUS”. I just can’t with the hypocrisy. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Rwanda backed M23 rebels in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo killed hundreds of villagers in July, according to Human Rights Watch, raising doubts about Trump backed peace process.

I’m still not on board with a pardon being the end game here. I’m still convinced they’ve moved her to nicer digs until SCOTUS does the dirty work by overturning her case.

Khashoggi's Ghost@urocklive1.bsky.social

Other high-profile inmates at Maxwell’s new digs include fake-blood extractor Elizabeth Holmes and Jen Shah of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City infamy. Trump doesn't dare pardon her yet, so he's trying to keep her happy so she won't spill the beans about him. newrepublic.com/post/198727/...

Lengthy. But it will prepare you for the inevitable day SCOTUS lets this vile bitch walk free and she remains untouchable. We need, as he says at the end, to keep our priorities- aka the FILES - straight.

dharmalee3❌👑@dharmalee3.bsky.social

MeidasTouch host Ben Meiselas reports on how Ghislaine Maxwell just utterly disposed of Donald Trump and made it look easy as she extracts the deal she’s always been looking for and Trump looks pathetic on the world stage.

Agree. There are some crimes that are unpardonable. Or should be.

Joyce White Vance@joycewhitevance.bsky.social

Convicted predators who rape and abuse children shouldn’t qualify for pardon consideration. A president who can’t immediately say “absolutely not” when I asked if he’s considering such a pardon should be hounded out of office.

Funny story: in the 90s, my teenager had MTV on in the background. They were doing a special on Woodstock. Kid walks thru the room and stops dead, doing a double take. Then, in an incredulous tone says … “Santana? CARLOS SANTANA WAS AT WOODSTOCK !!!???!!!” That was the day I realized I was old.

It’s taking a little longer in this instance. But I’m already seeing the rationalization process developing over at The Bad Place. They’re slowly but surely rejoining the herd.

Techweenie@techweenie.bsky.social

I'm gonna suggest all my leftie pals here quit crowing about MAGA desertions because I doubt they'll stick. Plenty of 'I'll cope with pedos for the policies I want' & 'that was in the past' rationalizations emerging. Remember the people who stuck with Koresh even after he molested their children.

I just had trouble with the online payment link to my insurance company that they were having trouble resolving. You know what I did? I sent a check. On time. Remember checks?

That’s it in a nutshell.

We’re releasing the Epstein Files day one. There are no Epstein Files. Here’s video proof nothing happened. Ok we had to edit it. There are no Epstein Files. There are Epstein Files, but the Democrats made them. Why do you care so much about this Epstein guy? What are “Files”?

My understanding is that this is the best way we have of measuring/ determining nighttime rapid intensity. As someone who watched Irma and Maria grow so fast before they slammed into us, this scares the bejesus out of me.
