A ghost, though invisible, still is like a place
your sight can knock on, echoing; but here
within this thick black pelt, your strongest gaze
will be absorbed and utterly disappear

This is reality. The old Dutch landscape versus the new. This was an early morning last week on the Dutch countryside. While I am not a big fan of the massive turbines in the landscape, in this particular scene it looks somewhat unreal and spectacular.

Our time outside has been replaced,
No longer will we roam,
But find instead our warmth and light,
While safely in our home.

Fluttering from the autumn tree.

Wild and free.
You are a queen among fruiting trees.
Sacred to the Celts.
There is no taming you.

Fills my heart once more
As the conductor of nature
Creates its own score

I finished this today. I kept adding to it and had to just stop before I drove myself crazy.
