J G Orudjev | collage . mixed media art

Update:

Apparently people are sharing this far and wide on social media, which I think is horrible. This could cripple ICE operations. PLEASE do not share this.

how it feels to post your art online

Remiss in posting work lately. Now that I’ve found a quiet spot on a barrier island, it’s time to bring things up to date. #corollanc #obx

Corita Kent, magpie in the sky (1961)

no ill-will to the poster, but Dolly is only not “weird” bc we’ve had her so long that her look got incorporated into what we consider normal for a diva! she has always very much marched to her own drum and pushed the limits of good taste while people did, in fact, get super mad at her for it

you also are not allowed to hate her for marrying an airboat driver who does alligator tours. not allowed!

there are legitimate reasons to dislike lana del ray but the line “my pussy tastes like pepsi cola” is not one of them

Sorry to learn that underground ambient musician Pete Swinton has passed away. He was always very kind to me. He also created this true masterpiece with cellist Emma Caterinicchio, which I'd like to recommend to anyone wishing to discover his work: peteswinton.bandcamp.com/album/cellos...

. Wednesday When, I wonder ,

I really cannot think of a greater honor than to have the Muppets say this about you upon your passing
