Nearly 1,500 daily buses serve 22,000 weekday passengers along 21 different routes on the 1.5-mile stretch of Michigan Avenue between Wacker Drive and Roosevelt Road. It's one of the busiest bus corridors in the CTA system — which is why it was chosen for a new dedicated bus lane.
