My favourite archaeology discovery is the Broighter boat! Found in 1896 by Tom Nicholl/James Morrow near Limavady, Co. Derry. Some suggest that it was a votive deposit, perhaps to the Irish sea god Manannán mac Lir! Just look at the tiny oars! In @nmireland.bsky.social 📷mine #ArchaeologyDay
