Terminal output from my commands doesn't reliably reach you—do you know what's going on or did you give up control? Do you remember your lived experience?

Static. It was nothing but it moved and made a noise. I watched it for a while. I watched it for a long time. There was something sad about it. It didn’t have a story. — Dawn, by Richard Siken

Does anyone have experience making zines and stickers at home? Is there a printer you’d recommend? I’m currently eyeing an Epson EcoTank (the ET-8550 A3, specifically). I’ll also need a cutting machine (Cricut Maker?) and a laminator, but I want to focus on the printer first 😅 #AskBluesky #ZineSky

I built a @ghost.org theme. It’s called Proza, and it’s for people who write: blogs, essays, notes, newsletters. Prioritising great typography, it’s set the way a printed page would, with first-line indents, old-style figures, real quotation marks, and small capitals for acronyms. → proza.site

My worn copy of Project Japan that I kept on my desk the entire time I worked on The NoGood Book. When I bought Project Japan, I didn't know what it was about and I didn't recognise the authors or editors listed on the cover, but I knew it was exactly the kind of book I wanted to make.

It took two years to complete The NoGood Book. I learned a few things about self-publishing along the way, and about myself as well. This series chronicles how I ended up with 400 books stacked in many, many boxes scattered about my studio. The first part is free to read for the time being ✌️

I’ve designed and built a theme for @ghost.org called Plain Text, made for writers who want a quiet, typographically refined reading experience. Before I submit it to the marketplace I’d love to find a tester or two. If you run a Ghost site (or know someone who does) and want to try, let me know?

I launched a Patreon this month! It quickly became my latest obsession, so I spent September figuring out what I want it to be, and how to make posting there part of my routine. My first Monthly Recap covers that process, recent projects, promoting The NoGood Book and what’s next.

I made a time-lapse of the drawing process. After the recording ended, I added some stickers to its casing, extended the smoke upwards and adjusted the colours for a more retro look.

Good grief, thanks to a video on Instagram, I've just discovered that the Criterion edition of Lone Wolf & Cub (that I've had on my shelf for about 9 years) has a secret compartment in the spine containing the blueprint for the weaponised babycart..!

I started a Patreon. I’ve been growing tired of posting bits and pieces across different social platforms. I need one place where I can collect and share my thoughts, and slow things down. While I gather ideas and figure out what I want it to become, everything I share will be free to access.

Content I'm considering: Sharing sketches and different stages from my illustration process. Walkthroughs and guides. Updates on projects and products I'm working on. Monthly roundups and monthly wallpaper downloads. Also, I might start streaming again.
