RFK Jr. is reportedly going to forbid government scientists from publishing in the world’s most respected medical journals — the Lancet, The New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, etc. It’s going to take decades to repair the damage done by this administration.

Waiting for my car at the dealership and there are three older dudes waiting and oh my god the political hot takes are WILD. One is a Trump supporter (wtf in Canada) and I think I’ve almost bit through my tongue keeping my mouth shut.

Husband is running in the federal election and who boy do you find angry people and family members you never knew had such big feelings about stuff, than when you post something relatively innocuous. Really hateful stuff. It’s so tiring.

RFK Jr. is absolutely enraging me rn with his ‘autism epidemic’ BS. I cannot handle the blatant lies and rampant misinformation spewed by this ableist asshat with brain worms.

I had to lockdown my account over at the bad place because my husband is running in the Canadian federal election for the Liberal party in Quebec. Lots of reasons, but the most important things is that you VOTE! Vote for whomever you like but please VOTE!! #elxn45

Kiddo is in Peru on a school trip and they just declared a state of emergency in Lima with military on the streets. Luckily she’s on the Amazon so, not IN Lima, but will have to transit back through. 😖

Government irresponsibility has consequences. The UCP’s junk science and fearmongering have eroded trust in vaccines—now, measles cases are rising, and kids’ lives are at risk. This is completely preventable. Parents, get your kids vaccinated.

CBC science show Quirks and Quarks just had another great episode talking about the long term damage caused by each COVID infection. If you're starting to wonder why so many hard-core scientists are so contemptuous of our public health institutions, listen to this. www.cbc.ca/radio/quirks...

One of Canada’s foremost defamation experts says a sweeping interim injunction granted by an Alberta judge against the Breakdown, a popular web-based political commentary show, “is vulnerable to either being set aside or significantly modified” in a court hearing Friday thetyee.ca/News/2025/02...

Question: where did this stereotype that Canadians pronounce ‘about’ as ‘aboot’ even come from? I know regional accents and all but is this like a prairies thing? I nor anyone I’ve ever met IRL pronounces it this way.

Hmm... It has been brought up by some EU officials... that 🇨🇦Canada🇨🇦🍁should look to join the European Union to broaden it's trade relations is a non-American direction. There is nothing in the Canadian constitution that would prevent this from proceeding if we chose to do so.

They say that 1939 Britain stood alone against a despot. That's not true. Canadian kids were signing up in the thousands. We were there to defend British skies. Now Canada stands alone in the face of despotism.and there is crickets from our European allies. But we've got this. Canada. #strongasfuck

Yesterday Trump's people sent out signals that the trade war with Canada was over. Last night Donald came at us again. I know ordinary Canadian will stand up to this erratic/vengeful opponent. I urge my political colleagues to put Canada first. We face an unprecedented threat. On guard for thee

Despite patriarchy's persistence, growing numbers of men believe they have it worse off than women. And, new research shows this "male victimhood" ideology is most common among men who aren't facing hardship. Which means what they're really feeling is status loss. 1/ www.psypost.org/male-victimh...
