Am I not allowed to comment anymore? :(

I see we are gearing up to recruit child soldiers now. This advertisement being sent to a sophomore makes me ill, literally.

I’m confused - who exactly is getting punished by these new 15% tariffs? Are they only applied to SCOTUS imports?

@schwarzenegger.bsky.social appreciated your take on gerrymandering, hope you’re up for terminating it in Texas.

Ozzy forever.

In 1862, a Union soldier found cigars wrapped in a piece of paper in a field of clover. The paper was a copy of Confederate Gen. Lee's invasion orders. The Southern sloppiness helped the Union stop Lee at Antietam. It's unknown who lost the orders in the field, or if he was related to Pete Hegseth.

Every time I use an emoji now, it feels like I’m doing national security work. 🔥

I can’t believe this has to be said, but: You cannot tell the story of Jackie Robinson—as a ballplayer, serviceman, or human—without discussing our country’s history of racism. From Around the Horn:

Hero post of the day.

@morgfair.bsky.social of you could share the petition, or take a look at this story, it would be amazing. resist.bot/petitions/PT...

NEW: Senator Marshall (R-KS) RUNS AWAY, fleeing his own town hall after being asked about DOGE firing Veterans. MAKE HIM GO VIRAL.

Those of us in higher ed learned the Dept of Ed had this come out today. I don’t have many followers, but maybe one of you do to amplify. I’m sure like other calls for input or emails, that their servers for this too may turn out to be overloaded enddei.ed.gov

Fucking riveting. I played Quake. Every death was a freaking jump scare. Also no one around me understood what I was doing. Also, neither did I. I did know what it was like to get stuck on a server with some LPB. Bullies is what they were.

Watching The Martian and remembering the dreams we had of a NASA of the future, and scientist-heroes. But we were just woke fools I guess.

New: DOGE's spending has been secret. No longer. My colleagues have uncovered it. www.propublica.org/article/doge...

Um, I’m pretty sure they don’t actually read what they post anymore. Checking in there is just self-abuse at this point.

Made the mistake of watching Don’t Look Up again. Feels pretty prescient. Maybe there’s no comet, but the rest is feeling a bit too accurate.

He told us. But he failed to mention the groceries. So we didn’t listen.

This era? public boot *polishing.

Oh great. Just when you think you’re on a platform that keeps these BS follow bots in check, heeerrres “Maggie.” Cue the block list growth. 🙄 Seriously, why does follow spam even work anymore?

This is not a government organization.

Congratulations, United States, you just sold the country to Elon Musk. That means he will soon possess every secret military technology ever made. Seems legit.

One of the few times I’m in the top 10% of anything. lol Bluesky now has over 10 million users, and I was #538,151!

So I’m over on the TikTok and this comes up. www.tiktok.com/@barstoolspo... And I want to know wtf? Is this a paid banner? Or is this just because people are doing it, and think it’s a good suggestion? If you click the link, do you get the banner too?

Opened up a portal to another universe. It’s an app that used to be called Twitter. So weird.

Sponsored push this morning from Fox News via Google. I find this pretty rich.

Ok who gave out this invite? Because the only thing 100% legit about this is it’s a scam. Come on @bsky.app are we really going to do this?

It’s not capitalism, it’s communism, right? #shescomingforyourchildren

Good morning! Love this text. 🤣 also love getting almost 100 mpg for $5 a month in electricity usage.

I really just don’t understand why this is the big own on @jefftiedrich.bsky.social it’s being touted as all over Facebook tonight. Was the reply even serious? And how does it make jeff wrong if it is?

I’m just so humbled to have my work alongside some of the coolest experimental film workers touring work today. Check out the program, Los Angeles, at Whammy. Curated by Anna Kipervaser and Zack Parinella. www.whammyanalog.com/events/count...

Family Thanksgiving success. This coffee cup is hilarious now.

Decided to start walking to work today. Even though I am 100% remote. It’s always been my favorite work commute arrangement and has always been the best to me. Hoping it’s a thing. It should be a thing, shouldn’t it? It’s a nice walk, see:

People often ask me about how to write ALT text. It's GREAT that more people are becoming aware of the importance of this and want to do it right! My primary advice is to look for guidance directly from people with visual impairments - not random "social media gurus". www.perkins.org/resource/how...

I never used to think about the Romans. Then the internet intervened in every damn way. 😂

Been runnin’ around like crazy the last few weeks, and I finally got a couple hours ahead of me to watch this tonight
