Seeing a lot of fear-mongering on my timeline tonight from trans folks and allies outside of B.C. Yes, this result is what it is. But this is not a “stockpile your HRT now” situation. And I think suggesting people do that is uneccessary and actively harmful to people who actually live here.

its deeply upsetting that we've become so accustomed to giant tech platforms abandoning any kind of responsibility for moderation that people just default to strategies to protect themselves but valve makes BILLIONS from steam, they should be the ones protecting the products on their shopfront!

ive rly flipped on the "small team" narrative because it is often used to obscure information about what can be achieved with a given budget and team size, meaning the demand for bigger games on 0$ with a skeleton crew. it's not sustainable and shouldn't be portrayed as a golden standard

do small teams with low budgets exist? 100%! but make sure you actually fit that standard before saying "were so small and tiny" when you're actually just saying "outsource, marketing, publishing, QA and localization don't count"
