Hey #portfolioday I’m Pam Wishbow, an illustrator that makes limited color, print inspired work based in Seattle, WA. I’m looking to do more work in publishing, editorial, and games this year. represented by How Do You Do pamwishbow.com

Now that the rain is here in Seattle and settled in I have no idea what to do about the giant wide pants that touch the ground I have gotten comfortable in all summer

My partner cut too many butter cubes for his biscuits and put them on a plate to use later and I have had to stop myself from popping one in my mouth thinking it was cheese several times now. It’s cruel.

Cat bit me as I was asking myself, on top of the several shows and freelance work, if I could maybe do a redraw of a 50 card deck before xmas. He's right.

I have tried to limit my time on here to avoid depression posting, my bad if you’re waiting on replies or if my communication has not been very fast.

Doing the best I can while getting clear messages it is not enough. Loss of work from that sucks, especially knowing I am the one and only reason that happens. I’m trying to stay standing, trying to keep moving, but it is hard.

When EA is the source of bad news it always leads to inevitably shitting on The Sims, real “that’s a girl game” energy coming from some of your colleagues there.

A top tier conversation ender that surprisingly still works on a lot of people is a simple "I don't own a TV." It has saved me from so many interactions I did not want to have.

Helps when it's true, I have not had a good spot or desire for a TV in well over a decade so I just don't have one. You would be amazed how much this bothers some people???

I think I might be going slowly insane because my house hets max 2h of light in the windows due to another building overshadowing it most of the day

The leaves are finally drying and the rain has hit Seattle. It's fall. The sun sets sooner, lower, redder. A copper focused Halloween shop drop for 2026 to remember the warm, weakening sun Monday Oct 12 7pm PST pamwishbow.com

Many fine vessels are still available for your trinket collections. This is the perfect use, excellent acquisitions. Also those are all good metal trinkets, keep buying stuff from @pamwishbow.bsky.social and @missmonster.bsky.social and then from me Read this is a corvid voice www.galdrecraft.com

I've been acquiring too many small metal pendants and tokens so I needed a vessel to keep them safe, new @cengaldre.com piece came in and has made itself right at home on my shelf of Items.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, seeing your dead friends faces on the internet via “you have a mutual friend” style alerts really fucking sucks.

Oh yeah, it’s the guy I’ve not been able to mourn right since he died across country during an early covid wave. I would like to see that who hasn’t used your service in 5+ years due to the being dead thing

When the cold creeps in and the wind is howling, the only cure is to curl up with a feline friend. Ghosts and specters enjoy a good lap cat, after all, they were only human once too. 🍂🐈‍⬛

Worked for one single day at a smoothie ahop in college, quit and never came back because the entire shop was covered in mold. I cleaned what I could but there was no dent, standing puddles of mold in and out of the freezers. Moved the credit machine and bugs scattered from it, there was no way.

This post is unavailable.

If you drank smoothies in downtown Savannah ~2007 you absolutely drank from this place, hope you didn’t get sick. They hounded me for weeks to return their tshirt but it instantly became a paint rag.
