This is what I mean "We used AI to look at our AI sessions!" Wow Groundbreaking stuff

Kind of mourning tech in general a lil bit. There used to be a sense of "thats impressive, or cool, or interesting" whenever some new open source project or app was announced, and now everything feels a bit empty and uninspiring

If you work on Safari by default I consider you totally unserious and dont give a fuck about the web

Trusted publishing configuration can expire?? I went through the painstaking effort of manually(!) configuring it for a bunch of packages in our two monorepos, and you're telling me thats a periodic thing I have to do?? 😵‍💫

What if we die 1000 arbeiders zeggenschap en eigenaarschap geven, hmm

I'm kind of mourning the good-times tech twitter, there were a lot of interesting web dev people active, and many of them just kind of have disappeared or moved on, and I miss that time and some of those people a lil bit

@netlify.com s deploy preview injected banner thing is extremely annoying. Blocks my apps nav, and when I open it, it cant be closed because the X is rendered outside of the viewport 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Anybody know anything about OXC's import plugin? We moved from eslint + eslint-plugin-import to eslint + eslint-plugin-import-x because harb is a terrible person and because of poor package exports/flatconfig/esm support, and now we're looking into oxlint, ...

which apparently has its own "import" plugin, but that then is based on eslint-plugin-import, which last time I checked was very behind on things (like package exports) and such Anybody have any insights/experiences? Is it any good?

Nederlandse politiek is ook zo inspiratieloos. Waarom loopt NL alleen maar achter amerika aan? Woke, project 2029, maga-achtige stromingen en fascisme, Jesse Klaver die een soort lidl Mamdani aan het roleplayen is.

What a good change by the svelte team Aligns with a builtin standard, reduces framework-ey magic, explicit paths/file extensions. Wonderful

Anybody wanna fund me for like a couple years so I can just spend my time on building this app that I really enjoy or nah

Charging people for using hyperlinks on the web is such an incredible showcase of capitalism

Suw@suw.bsky.social

Fucking hell. Facebook is now limiting the number of links that a page or professional profile can include in a post to TWO PER MONTH, unless you pay them $7.99 a month. Fucking assholes.

Ben zo ontzettend klaar met die kutboomers die wel even gaan uitmaken waar mensen zich wel of niet mee mogen bemoeien

Biggest crime of the Backrooms movie is that Mark Duplass only has like 2 minutes of screentime. Dude was *phenomenal* in Creep

Have been in the web components business for a while now, dont think ive ever seen a big/good usage of closed shadowroots, anybody?

Brian Kardell@bkardell.com

Show me who is making good or popular use of closed shadow roots, please? Like, not a thing on your website or a thing you've personally used once or twice, but something in broad use

If you’re not stalking TypeScript PRs, you might be surprised how much you can do with the API in nightlies (and even in 7.0 stable), so here’s a tiny demo that I think hits some of the highlights. 🧵

pretty wild how liberating it is to write code that just works in the browser without a build step

It's still incredibly pleasing to run through old projects converting TS into JS + JSDoc. I made the decision to cut out TS (excluding `.d.ts` files, they get a pass) from all my personal projects years ago and I'm still very much convinced that's the right move. TS as an authoring format ain't it.

Finally have such a nice way of quickly authoring multi-step flows for my botc app. Can just slap this on a `<button @click=${() => flow("Change role").etc.etc}>` Very happy with this, this is gonna make the code a lot more readable 😅
