Patch, ready to create again!

Welcome, friends! I'm Patch, and here's a bit about me: 🎲 I love playing #ttrpg games and would love to help yours 🗣 I dabble in voice acting ✍️ I make DnD supplements, including musical inspired subclasses If you'd like to know more, reach out, or check out my linktree: linktr.ee/Patchster0730

I've been working on a #Magic deck on and off for the past few years. I'm going to have to do a write-up of what challenges I put myself through to get this thing done. It's going to be so dumb and bad 😅

Creature Companions Expanded is live and fully funded on Kickstarter! This #ToV sourcebook provides new rules and options for any class in your #dnd 5e-Compatible games to adventure with (or as) a creature companion of their very own! www.kickstarter.com/...

I'm...back? Maybe? Life has been a whirlwind, but I'm trying to be more active with the things I enjoy.

My wife, the kids, even the dog all went on a trip while I have to work. I'm on my own for 10 days, which feels like the first time this has happened for years. I...I don't really know what to do with myself.

It's offical: they're our daughters, and I'm their dad. I'll love them forever and always 💕

Adoption day tomorrow. We're excited. Kids are excited. I'm so happy the process is almost over!

It's my birthday today! 35 years...I'd like to think I've made a positive impact during that time.

2 years. I've never worked on a game that long but that's how long I've spent iterating on the Boundless system and its setting "Lightfall". But after 2 years, the final game is finally done. Rules, layout, art, player kits. 94 pages of beautiful dark-fantasy and rules-bright mechanics. what now?

I know I don't want to take away agency from my DM in our game... But I really want to script out a huge moment that is coming with my character. The pain of being creative is neverending.

May you have the confidence and foresight of Bobby Bonilla's agent today. Also, if you know a Mets fan like me, don't make too much fun of us today. We already suffer enough.

I made a new Magic deck that when I showed my gaming friends, one said, "I mean this in the best possible way- gross 😂" I wear that as a badge of pride. Here it is: moxfield.com/decks/5YzVp6...

Got to chat with @scrysociety.bsky.social and @sroby25.bsky.social last night which made me so happy (we missed you @davidtilstra.bsky.social, next time for sure!) It's wild to think that we've been friends for about 6 years now, after all meeting through our podcasts. Love them so much!

Only a few more days for the sale! Want to get to know me, or know about Works of Whimsy? Ask me a question! For every like on this post, I’ll add a fact about me. For every repost, I’ll add a photo (could be cats or art or something else I love!)

Goals for the rest of the year: 🔴 Write 2 more musical subclasses 🔴 Build 3 more Magic decks 🔴 Write 3 scenes, 2 songs for TTRPG musical 🔴 Take part in 1 charity event 🔴 Interact more here 🔴 Have fun at PAXU I'll revisit this every month or so to check progress as I get back into the conmunity!

At the end of the day, I am, in fact, just a giant goober who just wants to do fun and silly nerdy things. There's really little nuance to me otherwise 👍

Been coming to Funland for years but never rode the Haunted Mansion, but since this is the last season before renovation... Guess I'm gonna get scared.

Was digging through my cards last night, and I kept pulling out rares. I had forgotten about most of these cards, so I'll have to scan them in. A nice little surprise for me for tonight! Still didn't find the card I was actually looking for...

I miss doing charity #TTRPG and #Magic events. I loved being able to help good causes. I'm going to get off my rear and see if I can start doing those again. Let me know if there's any that I might be able to jump in on!

This is Teo. He is conducting a very thorough sniff inspection. Not saying that giving him a treat will help you pass, but it wouldn’t hurt either. 12/10 (IG: itagure_teo_kobe)

OK this deck is wild. I was able to pump out 20 Dryad Arbors... Then got killed with Rakdos Charm. #Worthit

Finally built the #MagictheGathering deck that my wife had input in! Just like Scott Pilgrim, you'll have to deal with a bunch of X-es that might be considered evil! #MtG moxfield.com/decks/o5WCyD...

Open for commissions again! Please pay me to paint funny lil characters on your cards!!

I am looking for 3-4 TTRPG channels/groups to join a 24 hour TTRPG charity stream raid train / streamathon to support Doctors Without Borders on Thursday, May 21! See below for times available 👀

Being able to support ProLiteracy was amazing, and this was by far the wildest charity event I've been in. Playing with my close friends, changing voices on the fly, using things I'd created, and MY POWER WENT OUT DURING THE WHOLE THING! Find @scrysociety.bsky.social's stream and enjoy the chaos!
