Man, really jealous of hyprland. Actually sad we'll never get anything like it on macOS.

If squircled icons are actually better, then let that design win in the market. That's how we transitioned from the classic Mac OS icon style to the more photorealistic Mac OS X icon style. Developers adopted it because they wanted to, and because users desired it.

@siracusa.social whats that thing for macos that can "minimize" windows in their titlebars? i finally need it, but i cant find it. i found that it was called windowshade, but i remember you mentioning that you made or used a modern alternative?

How did we come here.. seems like both nativewind and uniwind are not ready for production, and I hate it because I love both. Nativewind (v5) does not have uniwind's `useResolveClassNames`, and uniwind doesnt support forcing a theme on a subtree, but nativewind does. So now I am stuck.

yarn v4: `Yarn will now auto-add and remove @types packages as needed whenever you update your dependencies with yarn add and yarn remove.` why is this not a thing for other managers?! @bun.sh, looking at you, since you're my favorite :D

I keep forgetting to stream my work on a specific repo!!!! I decided I won't no more. Added this in my fish config. When I cd/jump in a directory with `purge` in the path, it will remind me in the terminal *and* a macos notification. Hopefully see you on a stream next time I touch that repo.

Starting next Tuesday, a new series called "Dev Show & Tell"! Modeled on the engineering team show and tells at Artsy, which I deeply miss. Basically, engineers hang out and demo tools, projects, and...things, I guess...that they've been learning or playing with. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFb2...

react-native-mmkv is still the fastest storage solution for React Native! 🔥

Seems like MMKV is still king! But also, props to AsyncStorage went from 240ms down to 50ms since React Native 0.68!

Just like the sentiment "AI uses em-dashes because that's what professional writers use," "AI trolls you with rickrolls because that's what professional developers do."
