Interventions to promote risk-taking will never succeed until grades are eliminated. As long as the goal is to get an A (or its equivalent), students' rational response will be to *minimize* risk. (And then we blame *them* for lacking a "growth mindset" or some such.) tinyurl.com/27nch2vt

100%. I keep thinking of the video I did with Chris Jones of Arkansas and it seems like a miracle to see a person of that caliber running for Congress when we’ve all had to listen to Tommy Tuberville for 14 hundred million years. Jones is literally a rocket scientist (and personable and funny, too).

All of us need to remember that if any of these criminals made money through illegal stock trading, they cannot expect immunity from a Trump pardon. All stock trading is subject to the New York state law. State crimes are not pardonable by any president.

I’m alarmed that more people aren’t alarmed by Trump targeting Somali Americans and labeling them “garbage” and “crooks” who “contribute nothing.” Most of them are U.S. citizens, yet Trump says, “I don’t want them in our country.” If you know history, you know the horror this can lead to.
