I canvassed in my city yesterday to get out the vote. I knew chances were slim that I’d talk to many people especially on a Saturday, but I did inspire 3 people to go vote at town hall that afternoon. So yes, canvassing makes an impact.

Into the Drowning Deep is a great summer read. Takes place on the ocean at the Mariana Trench with a fantastic intersection of science and folklore that sucked me in right away. TheKid chose it for Mother’s Day based on a recommendation from @CopperDogBooks 👍🏻
